The ocean view was beautiful especially from the rooftop. The location was also great with trails along the cliffs and the Bengali caves that were right outside your door. The inside was a little dated but comfortable and served our needs. Overall we had a great stay and our host was very responsive whenever we needed anything.

Felt like home at a friends house. We had everything we needed to cook at homemake a bbq. The apartment faced the perfectly the caves and also the sea. One of the most beautiful apartments I stayed in Portugal!

We enjoyed our stay in Benagil. The location could not have been better for easy access to the beach and trails, right out the back door. We loved being able to sit out back (shrubs do block and bugs were bad) and on the roof for stunning views. There was plenty of room for the two of us. Beds were comfortable. The house itself was somewhat of a disappointment due to certain things that we found very old and worn. We had planned on cooking some meals at the house (particularly outside on the grill that was advertised). These are the most pressing issues with the kitchen:1. The refrigerator and freezer absolutely need replacing. The freezer door was rusted, dirty, and had no proper handle to open. 2. The grill outside was so old, rusted, and dirty that we were not comfortable using it. Kitchen coffeepot was old and dirty. We experienced some difficulty in using one of the gates for the house which was not working with the key. If you are looking for a most beautiful spot in Benagil, we would recommend Casa Benagil but only if some of the normally expected maintenance items are improved.

Location location location

Casa Benagil Mar is in a stunning location, on the cliffs over Benagil beach overlooking the famous caves and 180 degrees ocean. The house is well kept and very comfortable.

The house was beautiful and located right on the Trail of Seven Hanging Valleys. This is a hiker's dream house. we loved it so much. we had many bird visitors. highly recommend this property. it was close to restaurants and two beaches. Recommend getting Whats app to communicate with the rental office.

Perfect location with amazing view

The property was exactly as described, with an amazing view across the coast and sea. Two beaches within walking distance and access to a nice pool. Only two small suggestions for improvement: somewhere to store food in the kitchen (all the cupboards were full of crockery, glasses, etc) and some chairs on the roof terrace, to make the most of the views from up there. Apart from that, it was excellent.

Días inolvidables

Hemos pasado unos días ESPECTACULARES. Las vistas, la comodidad, lo equipada que estaba la casa…todo fue excelente. Un lugar muy tranquilo y hermoso. Hemos utilizado su parque y la parrilla en varias oportunidades. Los desayunos en la terraza, inolvidables. Seguramente volveremos. Y el detalle de la bienvenida. No ha podido ser mejor!

Superbe emplacement mais des efforts à faire sur la propreté.

L emplacement est extraordinaire vue dégagée, sur le chemin de randonnée, plage a proximité et facilité pour se garer, espace jardin confortable et la piscine commune est bien organisée. La propreté: présence de mouches à notre arrivée dans le séjour, le frigo laisse un peu à désirer et le barbecue est bien rouillé et non nettoyé ce qui ne nous a pas donné envie de l utiliser. Un peu décevant au vu du tarif de location.

Es war toll hier - natürlich vor allem auch dem guten Wetter und der Topplage geschuldet!

Schönes Ferienhaus mit toller Ich meine Terrasse und zusätzlicher Dachterrasse. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Lediglich ein paar Weingläser aus Glas (wir haben welche gekauft und dort gelassen) und ein funktionierender Korkenzieher haben gefehlt. Parkmöglichkeit direkt am/im Grundstück! Im kleineren der beiden Schlafzimmer gab es wenig Stauraum. Der ursprüngliche Fernseher war leider defekt. Es ist dann zwar am nächsten Tag ein Tauschgerät gebracht worden , aber leider statt 50“ nur noch 36“, also ein deutlich kleineres Gerät. Das (Schlaf)Sofa im Wohnzimmer ist zum längeren Sitzen beim Fernsehen nicht so gut geeignet. Schon gar nicht für 4 Personen. Aber insgesamt „jammern“ auf hohem Niveau!

Casa Benagil Mar

Uns hat eigentlich alles gut gefallen. Als dann die Gebüsche geschnitten waren noch viel besser, da wir dann auf das Meer blicken konnten. Wenn wir ein Problem hatten wurde alles schnell wieder in Ordnung gebracht. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder zurück. Wir hatten zum Duschen fast immer kaltes Wasser, das sollte eventuell überdacht werden, an was das liegt. Wäre noch schön, einen etwas neueren Grill für den Garten anzuschaffen.
