Arrived to a beautiful, luxurious farmhouse which was very clean and warm, with exception of windows

Arrived to a beautiful, luxurious farmhouse which was very clean and warm, with exception of windows in master suite not clean. Hot tub very large and lovely to sit in the bubbles with a glass of fizz looking out to beautiful countryside. Very comfortable. Great washer dryer and everything you would need for a holiday. Very warm kitchen constantly due to Aga warming the downstairs. Lounge sofas very comfortable. No shops nearby really that would provide much for a party of 8. Only downside for some people would be having to get in the car for shops or beaches, but location very central to visit beaches in Carmarthenshire or Pembrokeshire. Just returned yesterday from a lovely week there with amazing weather. . Will return. The owner has spared no expense converting this property into a 5 star holiday rental. More chairs to sit on outside around hot tub in the sun would be great. The outside patio could do with sprucing up a bit. So peaceful at night. A few minor issues with hot tub and central heating to sort out , but property agent Gareth was soon round sorting out within a half hour of phoning him.

We stayed here in the last week of September.

We stayed here in the last week of September. We found the directions to the cottage good except that the yellow Bwlchsais sign was barely visible in the hedge and could only be seen in one direction. The long drive to the cottage made you realise that you were away from any other properties. The building is very impressive from the outside and once inside you are met with a large layout, which is well renovated, with plenty of room. The windows inside and out did need a clean though. There were only 2 of us staying here but a bigger party would still have space to move about and not get in everyone's way. All the bedrooms were spacious and could accommodate a selection of different parties, with bunk beds in one room, a cot in another and even a sofa bed downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped which made it difficult to find empty space to store food items for our stay. The hot tub was nice and relaxing with views over the farmland. There were a few things that made our stay challenging. The aga wasn't hot enough on our first morning as we tried to cook breakfast and there were no instructions to know whether there was anything we needed to do to improve things. Not everyone is familiar with log burners either so instructions to that would have been handy to avoid smoking the room out. The bi fold door lock mechanism were tricky to engage to ensure the property was secure. Our stay overall was good and even with the changeable weather we were well located to explore Pembrokeshire
