Private parking. No smoking. Please note: The sea is 55 yards away from the property.. Market Stance is a bungalow set outside the quiet village of Glenelg. There are beautiful uninterrupted views from the living room, kitchen/dining room and the master bedroom of Skye, the beach and Glenelg Bay. Guests can relax on the comfy sofas in the living room, where there is also use of a high power telescope and a desk with a light whilst working remotely. The kitchen has a dining area with chairs and patio doors lead out to the covered patio. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the master bedroom enjoys views of the sea and Isle of Skye. Outside you can relax and enjoy the covered patio area where you can drink in the amazing views, with the sea just yards away.

We had a lovely time at Market Stance .

We had a lovely time at Market Stance .... In a very scenic position with amazing views. Our Dog loved both the beach and enclosed garden area. Lovely to see wildlife ... seals coming down into the bay ... the cottage is large in size and accommodating... slightly a little dated but added quirkiness to the cottage ...Easy access to the ferry across to Skye ... but equally the winding road down to the cottage ... provides lots of fantastic view points, provides easy access to the mainland ... didn't go into the inn pub ... but glenelg appears to be a nice little cosy village .... for the scenic views alone and easy access to beach, we would readily return.

What a fantastic week at Market Stance.

What a fantastic week at Market Stance. The stunning beauty is hard to ignore as you approach this property, its hard to imagine a more beautiful view! The property itself is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it has to be one of the most lovely places i have ever stayed, the property itself is fantastic with lots of space, its location it seriously tough to beat if you want an escape from it all, there is a lovely pub nearby, and a little shop, even a micro brewery a short drive as well as amazing sites of historic interest, and a ferry worked by the most amazing guys and their lovely dogs!The only slight negative point is the oven, this could do with a good clean, but i was out and about and ate out anyway as the pub had great food and i was back late most days from exploring the whole west Highlands for the week! I could live here though, it really is one of the most beautiful places you can find in the Highlands, and i hope i am lucky enough to stay here again ASAP! Thanks to the hosts for a beautiful week!
