Located in the beautiful Welsh seaside village of Llanrhystud, its stunning location makes it a very popular village. Y Bwthyn has been lovingly updated and modernised, maintaining much of the original features and is the perfect holiday cottage for couples looking for a seaside break.
Upon arrival, you are presented with an open plan kitchen and living room area providing a warm and cosy feel. The modern kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials, including a breakfast bar. Beyond the kitchen/living area to the back of the cottage is a small outside space with patio seating to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a place to relax after a long day out. There is also a bike storage for those outdoor adventure types. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom, decorated to a very good standard and is an ideal place to unwind. Next door to the bedroom is a modern bathroom, featuring a shower over the bath.
Only 10 minutes’ walk away you will find a beautiful shingle bank with a half mile long sandy beach. In the village you will discover a lovely café, and a nice traditional pub. Llanrhystud lies on the Ceredigion Coast Path, part of the Wales Coast Path, which is 14 miles starting from Morfa Farm caravan park in Llanrhystud to New Quay, passing spectacular sea views along the way and centuries of history, heritage, and culture, for any walkers this is a must do; perhaps discover Aberaeron for the day, only seven miles away.
Whether you enjoy a stroll around a Georgian country estate, chilling out on the beach or a hearty harbour meal after a train ride, just 9 miles north is Aberystwyth. Aberystwyth’s town high street benefits from many shops, mainly independent boutique shops with some high street names mixed in, whilst the nearby retail outlets offer larger named and designer brands. Aberystwyth Arts Centre is worth a visit, as is its neighbour the National Library of Wales, home to historic books as well as the smallest book in the world, it also hosts painting and film exhibitions, and you can sit in comfort watching archive films from across Wales. Y Bwthyn is an incredibly comfortable holiday home in a fantastic scenic, coastal, and rural location.

Beautiful cottage in lovely lane which leads to the sea , many walks and places to visit without having to drive too far .Bus stop a few yards away on the main road if you feel like leaving the car behind .And a well stocked supermarket at the petrol station just a short distance up the road.

Beautiful little cottage, great walks for me and my dog Charlie, pub was great, very friendly and food was gorgeous, dogs can eat with you so a perfect pub for me and Charlie, local shop and petrol station was friendly and well stocked, locals was very friendly, cottages was well equipped, the owners of the cottage very friendly and helpful, anything I need I only needed to text them. I will be going stay again at this gorgeous little cottage. I will be highly recommending it to friends and family. Me and Charlie didn't want to leave, Thank you for letting us stay.
