We had a lovely time in this cottage.
We had a lovely time in this cottage. It was warm, clean and well equipped with excellent WiFi and lots to see and do in the local area. We were visiting our daughter at the Uni and it was perfect. The hot tub was excellent and the views over the town and across the sheep farms wonderful. Our host was local but not intrusive and available to us had we needed her, but we didn't. Everything was great.

We had a lovely few nights away. Cottage was well equipped with stunning views. Laura was welcoming. The garden was secure meaning we could let the dog out without worrying, he loved sitting watching the sheep and chickens. Hot tub was lovely to sit in and enjoy views. Only 10min drive from local beach.

We loved our stay.
We loved our stay. A comfy, warm, clean, well equipped cottage with a stunning view! Perfect for us and the dog. A quick drive into Aberystwyth, though the lanes are narrow and clumsy for drivers unused to that kind of drive, but you're not in them for long.
Laura is lovely, the hot tub is always hot, and we even had a takeaway delivered! We'll definitely stay again.

This fantastic cottage is private and secluded, with views out over the countryside.
This fantastic cottage is private and secluded, with views out over the countryside. The kitchen is well equipped, the dining area comfortable and the lounge nice and cosy with the log burner on. The double bedroom has plenty of room and the downstairs shower room is a good size too. The twin room has plenty of space and the upstairs bathroom is very luxurious. The hot tub is fantastic and the fully enclosed garden means you can let you dog out without worry of him wondering off. There is ample parking for 2 cars, and the owner is very friendly and always on hand if you have any questions.
The location is good only a few miles from Aberystwyth and there are many small beaches along the coast. It is worth bearing in mind that this is a rural location and the roads are single track with occasional passing places. You will need to drive to shops, pubs etc. But for a quiet relaxing retreat this is perfect. We loved it.

Fantastic time second time there.
Fantastic time second time there. underfloor wasn't working and only enough fire wood for one night. also double bed mattress could do with replacing a little worn and sloped to the sides, but apart from this couldn't fault it. lovely break away will definitely be coming back.

A nice little cottage set next to a farmhouse, overlooking one of their fields.
A nice little cottage set next to a farmhouse, overlooking one of their fields. The cottage is well equipped, has underfloor heating, a log burner, a hood little hot tub, a wet room and a roll top bath. The upstairs bedroom would be a bit snug but we didn't use it anyway. The garden is perfect if you have a dog, plenty of room and fully enclosed. Our only real issue was that the hot tub area and tub itself weren't as clean as they could have been but it wasn't enough to stop us using it regularly!
The single track road to the farm is a bit of an awkward one but it's worth it for the setting, just don't plan on walking to any local amenities as there aren't any for a decent while. The Oak chip shop off the main road is worth a visit mind.

A beautiful cottage in a fabulous location, if you like rural and peace and quiet then this is the cottage for you. The hot tub was a lovely added extra to relax in after a day out. The cottage owner was on hand if needed and made sure our stay was extra special by leaving a lovely welcome pack (including welsh butter - by far the best butter we have ever tasted milk, bread and Welsh cakes). Aberystwyth seaside town was just a 5 mile drive away.
We would love to return to this cottage at some point in the future.

A lovely cottage in a wonderful location.
A lovely cottage in a wonderful location. Owner (Laura) was great and left us to enjoy our stay.
Yes, the double bed is a little uncomfy (needs a new mattress really) and the really picky could say that the TV in the living area should be a smart tv.
However, you're not going to stay here just to watch TV! The view is spot on, especially when relaxing in the hot tub, which was well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped too.
We'll definitely stay there again. Just loved it...apart from the bed.

This cottage is beautiful both inside and out, and looks onto the most incredible views. We stayed there as a couple with our two dogs, so didn’t use the upstairs (there you’ll find the twin room and bathroom with the big bath).
Our main concern was how suitable the garden would be for our dogs (they’d escape if given the chance! 😂) It’s fully enclosed so you wouldn’t need to worry, and there’s plenty of room for them to run about and watch the sheep. There is a very cute ginger cat that kept coming to explore the garden, luckily the dogs didn’t see.
The cottage itself faces onto sheep fields, making it completely private. The hot tub is located just outside the main bedroom. What’s useful is that there’s a door to the garden from the bedroom so parents could creep out without disturbing kids, or in our case - snoring Bulldogs! 😂
We had a very thoughtful welcome pack left for us by the owner, Laura. That was very kind so thank you for that. The cottage had everything we needed, and is in a great location only a ten minute drive from Aberystwyth town.
We will definitely be returning in a few years. My partner asked me to marry him during our stay (on the beach!) so this cottage now has sentimental value to us, I can’t wait to return once we’re married!

Loved it! Wonderful stay.
Loved it! Wonderful stay. So relaxing and peaceful! Fantastic hot tub and garden. Lovely hosts who are close by if needed but leave you in peace. The only thing I either change would be the sofa as I think the cushions have gone so we found it a bit uncomfortable after a while. And a brush for the floor would be great. Would love to return.

An incredible stay! We both enjoyed ourselves and thought this cottage was amazing.
An incredible stay! We both enjoyed ourselves and thought this cottage was amazing. One of the best weekends we've had! The build of the cottage was lovely and homely with the log fire. Where they provided the log wood to help start the fire. The hot tub was a lovely touch and is close to the door. So if its cold outside you don't have to walk far. The WiFi was at a great speed which was a nice touch. The location was great with breath taking views in the hot tubx through the windows. But also close to the town. A few things we did pick up on, was the bed was quite hard and there was no soap in any of the bathrooms. But otherall a fantastic stay, you need to go!
