Disappointed
I thought the garden would have been accessible from the rear of the property. Instead it was only accessible from the front door and round the corner of the house onto an open raised garden area. At 72 years old I found it very difficult to remove the hot tub lid with a broken lifting bar. One mounting was cracked on arrival putting the load of the lid out of balance resulting in the lid dropping too far. I struggled to lift it and replace it due to this and didn't bother to use it on the second day because of this. The house was cold on arrival and took a while to heat up. The cottage is need of some maintenance/repairs. The hot tub lifter, the metal trim around the hearth is coming off and is a safety issue for young children. The radiator pipe in the bathroom is heavily corroded and will fail before long. In summary: I think the description needs to indicate how the layout is as I found it very misleading. I responded to the property management email asking how my stay was going by stating some of the facts above. This was met with a generic response regarding any further questions.
A bit out of the way, roads very narrow. Difficult to find pubs with food or shops.
The most annoying.
The toilet set is loose enough to be dangerous needs urgent attention.
The tap in the bathroom sink sprays out tike a sprinkler outside the sink ,it needs limescale remover .
