Family bungalow with private pool near Tenby (Free Wifi)

Only 15 minutes drive from Tenby, Shalom is our stunning detached bungalow set in delightful country surroundings. Our property has everything you'll need for a pleasant stay in Pembrokeshire. Chris lives in the village, so help is never far away if you need anything!

Shalom has a private swimming pool (heated April 1st to October 1st) with feature BBQ, enclosed front and rear garden with a courtyard.

The ample grounds and gardens have high quality garden furniture and a child's swing.

Shalom sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin room. Bath robes, bath towels and hand towels are provided in each bedroom.

Bedroom 1: double bed, fitted wardrobes, TV and hairdryer.
Bedroom 2: double bed, fitted wardrobes, TV and hairdryer.
Bedroom 3: twin beds, fitted wardrobes, TV and hairdryer.

Bathroom: bath, toilet and wash hand basin.
Shower room: shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

Lounge/dining room: ivory leather corner suite incorporating a chaise long. Wall mounted 55” 4K TV with bluray player. Patio door leading to patio and swimming pool. Dining area with table seating 6 .
Kitchen: electric oven and gas hob, full size integrated fridge and freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and deep fryer.

There is also a travel cot for a baby.

There is private parking available next to the bungalow for up to 3 cars.

Due to weather/demand, the outdoor swimming pool is normally unavailable between October 1st and April 1st. (Prices adjusted accordingly). If you would like to make use of the pool during this period, please contact before booking and we will be able to confirm if it's possible. There may be an additional fee.

A wonderful break away

This property was wonderful, and my two girls mostly loved the pool, which was warm and very well maintained. Tenby is beautiful, but my girls mainly wanted to swim all day. Would definitely return. Thank you Chris

Home from home with added benefits

Overall a very pleasant stay with an added benefit of the pool, and well equipped with things in the house and outside, if wished to stay put ,a nice area in a position to travel to visit our family along the welsh coast as well as enjoying the surrounding countryside. most definitely try to come stay again.

Very nice clean and just what we needed for easter

Was a great place to stay for a 5 night Easter break with the family It had everything we needed ample towels as we were in the heated pool every day Our autistic grandson loved every minute including the Easter egg hunt around the garden The storage heaters may need to be on timer for a longer period at this time of year as the evenings were spent under blankets to keep warm as it became very chilly after 9pm but overall a great break

Relaxing break

This bungalow had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Quiet location but just a few mins drive from beach, restaurants and shops. The recliner chairs were a nice surprise and so comfy for relaxing in the evening. The pool area was lovely and the pool was heated to a nice temperature even when weather was not so warm. Some areas could do with updating but this did not impact in our stay. The coffee/tea basket was a nice touch as well

Wouldn’t return

Property was clean on arrival but lots of light bulbs needed changing and light switches playing up. Not enough towels provided either. Swimming pool gave my children chemical burns. It was also very cold but temp was turned up on request. Was a lot further out than stated on map pin. Wouldn’t want to stay her if you’re not prepared to travel for everything! No shops/pubs close. Wouldn’t return

Hi Katie, I'm very disappointed to hear this. The pool temperature never actually dropped below 82 degrees Fahrenheit for the duration of your stay. 78-84 is the 'norm' for a private pool. The pool is heated (at considerable cost). You may want to look into indoor therapy/spa pools. The chlorine and PH levels were checked before, during and after your stay. The levels were always within the normal range. Unfortunately, some people (particularly children) are more sensitive than others - which is why it's best to shower before and after using the pool. I have checked the map on VRBO and it clearly shows its location. The property description also describes the location in some detail. It is a rural area, but it is only 5 miles from Tenby and about 3.5 miles from Saundersfoot. I apologise for issues with some of the lights. I also apologise for the lack of towels. I believe there was 8, but I would've provided more if requested.

Perfect property and location

We really enjoyed our stay. There is plenty to do in the local area...... castles, towns, beaches and more. The highlight though has to be the pool. This is heated to a comfortable temperature and we used it every day, even though the weather wasn't the best the whole time.

Truly a home, away.

We have had a lovely stay and thank you for all the homely extras as the first thing we did on arrival was to enjoy a cuppa. We had a relaxing swim in the heated pool enjoying every bit of the accommodation and our surroundings.

Really nice property in a really nice area. There was honestly nothing not to like about it. The only slight issue was the heating system for the pool failed twice during our week there, but the owners couldn't have done anymore to rectify it and even got an electrician out on a Sunday. Will definitely be looking to return here, would recommend highly

Family short break

Lovely place to stay. The pool was just what we needed- 5 year old daughter would quite happily have spent all day tomorrow n there. The bungalow was great too.
