About this property
Domaine de Kerstrat - The Wee Room
For rent individually or as an extra room for either of our cottages, this room is cosy and wee. With double bed, ensuite bathroom and coffee making facilities, the room maybe small but does not compromise on comfort or style. Note however the ceiling is low at 1.90m
Our cottages are set in a terrace of eighteenth century traditional Breton stone buildings known as Pentys. Although there are clues that the stones were salvaged from a much older manor.
We have lovingly converted these to provide for modern comforts whilst preserving the unique features and ambience of the original structures
The first penty sleeps 2 adults and 2 children and is comprised of a double height salon, adjacent to the kitchen and dining areas, shower room with two bedrooms on the mezzanine above.
The second penty has a double and three single beds and places the lounge, kitchen and dining in a double height vaulted hall. The master bedroom with ensuite shower and loft are situated above.
A further room is available for hire either independently or together with either cottage should more beds be required. This has a double bed, ensuite bathroom, a microwave and coffee making facilities. There is an external table for eating and a folding table inside. Please note headroom is limited to 1.90m
Our garden is available to all our guests year round. 10 acres of lawn, orchards and woodland, provide a tranquil, safe place to ride bikes, picnic and play.

About the host

We had been long been thinking of moving to Dournenez to retire one day having holidayed here annually at a family home.
Lockdown like for many allowed us time revaluate and provided us then opportunity to dream.
On holiday in the window of lockdown we stumbled on an amazing place . This was just too good a chance to pass up. We made our minds up on the spot and five months later collected the keys to our new life.
We now after 18 months of work, have the opportunity of opening our home to you and hope you will come stay and have an amazing, relaxing, inspiring, fun filled holiday
