The apartment was very comfortable and cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The host was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They made everything easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend, and we’d love to stay again!

Everything as advertised, beautiful apartment

The apartment is exactly as pictured and in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Outside of city center (definitely uber worthy based on the giant hill you go down to get into town) and literally next to the zoo. Lots of space with a nice kitchen but very stark pantry if you wanted to cook. The shower is also very tiny but there is a bath tub separate. The host responds very quickly and is so helpful! The balcony even in cooler weather was fantastic to sit out in the morning with a cup of coffee. Needed to leave windows open to sleep as it was quite warm in the apartment even when it was cool outside but until the birds woke up, the neighborhood was silent so it wasn't an issue.

Great location

You cannot beat this location. It is quiet and the zoo is right outside your door, including the Zoo Cafe which is open to non-zoo visitors. The tram is also very easy to access which takes you right into the heart of Zurich. It was also easy to be on the first floor for stroller access with our toddler. The owner of this property was very responsive and helpful. I was surprised by the kitchen - it was not well stocked for being a high-end kitchen. I would recommend to the owner to stock with more pantry and kitchen essentials, including things like food storage containers. The heat was also difficult to manage in the bedrooms and we ended up opening a window in one bedroom to keep it under 26 celsius. Overall this was a good property for our 10-day stay.

Exactly as pictured! Would stay again.

Property owner is very responsive. My VRBO messages, text messages, and phone calls were answered promptly. Everything is as described. The location is perfect because it was a short walk to the tram that took us to the grocery stores, Zurich's city center , and Zürich Hauptbahnhof. It does get loud outside because of people going to the zoo but when the sun sets, it is quiet. Use a credit card that does not charge a foreign transaction fee because VRBO charged the rental stay in British pound. I've been to a lot of European rental property and this is the biggest one. Lots of room to accommodate my family of 4 adults. The down side is the kitchen utensils are sparse. There are a lot of dishes, bowls, and glasses. Pots and pans and cooking utensils are the bare minimum.
