About this property
GuestReady - Former Pub Flat
Welcome!
It is located in the desirable neighborhood of Kennington, South London. My home is situated in pub-conversion along a quiet street, not far from Kennington Park (about a 10-minute walk), and is kitted out with all the essentials necessary for a comfortable stay. This includes a reception room/living area with hard wooden floors, a sofa that can be converted into a bed for two, a TV with streaming services (like Netflix) built in, and a dining table that can accommodate four adequately; an ideal place for entertaining and relaxing after a long day of venturing out the city. The pair of French-style doors behind the dining table leads to a shared garden -- a delightful space to relax, especially during the warmer weather, with its immaculate landscape and an outdoor dining area for al-fresco eating.
The kitchen is small but thoughtfully laid out, with all the mod-cons needed to whip up a homestyle meal. You'll also find a washing machine ready to freshen your clothes without going to the local laundromat.
The bedroom has a large, king-size bed lined in hotel-quality linens to ensure a good night's rest. It features a fireplace that is original to the building and also comes equipped with a large wardrobe to keep your luggage and personal belongings safely and tidily. You'll also see it's mirrored, which is helpful if you need to make any final touches to your appearance before heading out.
The bathroom is small but beautiful, with a mixture of vintage and retro-inspired tiles: a bath for you to soak in and a shower head to wash quickly. A toilet, sink, and mirror are also standard. Fresh towels and toiletries are provided at no extra cost.
The flat will be professionally cleaned for your comfort.
Enjoy!

Quiet neighbourhood in zone 1 - a stone’s throw from the famous 'East Street Market', local shops, boutiques, restaurants and other amenities nearby and within the sound of Big Ben. The beautiful gardens of Kennington Park and When not commuting into the city the newly regenerated Burgess Park is just on your doorstep where you can enjoy beautiful views across London, barbecues and a plethora of sporting activities.
Kennington is a residential neighbourhood home to The Oval cricket ground, which hosts Surrey County and international matches. The area’s elegant namesake park features a flower garden, skate park, and sports courts. Cosy traditional pubs and relaxed restaurants serving Indian, Persian, and Italian dishes cluster on and around Kennington Road, and tours and tastings are available at the Beefeater Gin Distillery
Easy access to London Waterloo, the West End and the City via the frequent buses at either end of John Ruskin St or Kennington tube on the Northern Line being 10 mins walk away.
This is a self check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in anytime of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 GBP smoking fee, at minimum.
We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
