About this property

Cwter Hywel - a cosy fire that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

Cwter Hywel sits in almost an acre of grounds, with a large lawned garden and outside dining area facing the fantastic views of the Snowdonia mountains. Along one side is a range of rustic outbuildings, one of which contains a darts room and a simple sitting area.

Inside the house, you'll find a utility area with a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Step from this room through to the modern kitchen/dining room and the light, airy downstairs shower room. Beyond this, there is the traditional parlour which opens up to a conservatory with magnificent views of the gardens and mountains. On wet days and colder evenings, relax in the cosy sitting room with sofas, a TV and a wood-burning stove that nestles in a stone fireplace.

Through a doorway in the three-foot thick stone walls, you'll find the double bedroom and a bunk room. There is also a crogloft bedroom with twin beds up the steep ladder steps to the roof space.

Cwter Hywel is a simple, cosy holiday cottage. A peaceful, no-frills base perfect for exploring the island and escaping from the demands of everyday life.

Brilliant holiday

Had a fantastic time , brilliant spotlessly clean, great welcome pack, and fully equiped kitchen, very comfortable and brilliant garden our dog loved running around and we found it hard to get him in the car when we were going out. Stayed in many houses in Anglesey and this one is right up their with the best, wed will be back , thanks to the owners for having us stay for the week.

Getting away from it all

We stayed in this lovely cottage in a secluded part of Anglesey with our three labradors. The property is lovely and really included, which is exactly what we wanted to get away from it all for a bit. The garden is large grass and secure so the dogs had a blast in there. It was a great location with a view of Snowdonia. And the property is exactly as described clean welcoming homely we love to stay here and we will definitely be going back dogs and all. The house were excellent leaving us a welcome basket which was lovely. If you want quiet secluded private and away from it all with a lovely cute 300-year-old cottage to stay in this is the place for you we love it.
