Located between Lagos and Portimão (about 10km each), our 2 bed, 2 bath apartment offers you the perfect mix of the peace and quiet of nature and the lively vibes of the small cities surrounding it. Whether you like visiting the beach, the quaint Algarvian coastal villages and towns, golfing or hiking around the Monchique mountain area, our holiday home is the perfect starting point.

The apartment feels more like a townhouse as it is located on the corner and only has one other accommodation above it. From the little garden, you access the spacious living room with a lounge area and a fully equipped open kitchen with modern appliances and a dining table. Behind this are two bedrooms: one twin room with a bathroom in the hallway and one master bedroom with a kingsize double bed consisting of two 90x200 boxsprings pushed together and with an en-suite bathroom.

The twin room borders the main terrace with an outside dining table, and the master bedroom gives access to a smaller private terrace with a seating area. Parking is public and free. The parking area is located right beside the building. The resort's pool and playground are just 1 minute's walk from the accommodation.

Surrounded by a green environment and peaceful landscapes, Vale da Ribeira Residences is the ideal place to enjoy holiday moments. The common outdoor areas have two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), a playground and gardens full of trees.

Fun fact! The owners chose this apartment for its perfect location on the outside corner of the resort area and because the house number reminded them of a famous rum brand in their homeland, Brazil. Hence the choice to name their accommodation Casa Boa Ideia! Referencing the rum's advertisement slogan.

## Neighborhood

Vale da Ribeira Residences is located in Mexilhoeira Grande, a quiet area of the Algarve, with the hills of Monchique to the north and coastal towns of Lagos and Portimão to the south. Only 10 minutes from the beach and 45 minutes drive from Faro Airport.

The little towns of Mexilhoeira Grande and Odiaxere are just around the corner, and each has small supermarkets and restaurants to cater to your needs when you want to avoid the bigger towns. The chicken restaurant and the pizzeria on the main street of Odiaxere are famous takeaway places in the area. For a truly local restaurant experience nearby, go to A Curva in Mexilhoeira Grande. The nearest big supermarket is located in Torre's brand new shopping area, between Odiaxere and Lagos.

With more than 40 courses available, it’s no surprise the region has become synonymous with golf, with thousands of tourists flocking here every year. We prefer Palmares Golf at 4.8km.

Algarve International Circuit
Commonly referred to as Portimão Circuit, is a 4.653 km race circuit located in Portimão, Algarve region, Portugal. The development includes a karting track, off-road track, technology park, five-star hotel, sports complex and apartments.

Wakeboard
Vale Da Ribeira is located close to a renowned wakeboard training ground suited for beginners and professionals. Enjoy your day here, and challenge yourself by trying to complete the obstacle course.

Kitesurf
Enjoy your kitesurf session at the beautiful beaches in Algarve with perfect wind conditions. Make it an unforgettable memory.

Surf & Paddle
Choose from the southern or western coast of the Algarve to ride some of the best waves in Europe. There are several packages and opportunities to take a class or an intensive course in Surf, bodyboard and stand-up paddle.

## Transit

Although you can find trains, buses and uber/taxi services in the area, a (hire) car is highly recommended for this trip as the accommodation is in stand-alone urbanisation. Parking is free and easy next to the accommodation and free parking is readily available in most towns and beach areas.
