Requires a little more effort

On arrival there was a rubbish bag along with 3 empty lager cans and an empty spirits bottle in the front garden, which looked unkempt. The fence around the property was also in a poor condition, resulting in a poor first impression.The instructions provided to enter the property were fine making gaining access straightforward.We could not find the welcome pack, or a T-Towel, nor oven gloves.Small touches like place mats and coasters were also absent.In the instructions it told us not to alter the heating controls so spent two days with no heating at all.We had looked forward to the trip but ended up leaving two days early.

Bad experience expected better

Felt notification of keysafe number was insufficient. 'Driveway' slope was such I had to chock the rear wheels of car even with handbrake fully on. Front path edges and retainer board were dangerous screws protruding from loose board and path edge crumbling. Not as advertisdd 'disabled ftiendly' several steps up to entrance no chance eith wheelchair users. Handrail on entrance stairway pulling out of brickwork wall. No fittings in bathroom(mirror towel rail soap holder toilet rool holder. Wash basin/shower drain linked and spewing foul water from shower drain when wash basin emptied. Central heating not functioning properly for four days. Kitchen not properly equipped no veg peeler. Garden view consisted of end or side walls of a garden shed. Deefnitely not worth the money charged for let or even half it Serious health and safety and public health issues present. Also property holder/agent could not be contacted to get drainage problem dealt with. Photo of property sjown on advertisement was a bungalow 50 mts down on other side of the street
