About this property

Kentmere Haven with Parking by LetMeStay

Summary:
Relax In a former drying shed of the Gatefoot bobbin mill, the property now offers a whole host of home comforts than perhaps its original use. Converted into flats in 1970, the whole property has recently been modernised and converted to a collection of wonderful self contained apartments with private entrances.

The Space:
This perfectly formed first floor apartment features its own entrance plus welcoming hallway, ideal for wet weather gear and muddy walking boots. The hall leads upstairs to a small utility area with a washing machine before opening up to a bright and spacious open plan space with wonderful views over Kentmere to the front as well as the babbling river kent to the rear.

The open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and quality Neff appliances is the ideal space to entertain or snaffle a tasty pastry from the local More? bakery. The comfortable lounge is a great to relax after a full days exploring and the TV is smart for binging on that latest Netflix Series.

There is a double bedroom and king bedroom off the living space as well as a modern family shower room.

Guest Access:
You have access to the whole of the property during your stay as well as private parking.

The Neighborhood:
The popular village of Staveley is a hidden gem just outside the hustle and bustle of the lakeland villages of Ambleside & Windermere. Located in the stunning kentmere valley there are fabulous leisurely strolls and dramatic walks from the doorstep as well as a multitude of great bike routes.

There are an abundance of fabulous eateries including More? Bakery, Hawkshead Brewery and the Eagle & Child inn, not to mention Kimi's Gelato - a must visit!

Getting Around:
The property is so well located you may not even need to use the car at all due to fantastic transport links nearby! There is a regular bus service from Staveley to Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick & Grasmere as well as train links to Kendal, Windermere, Oxenholme and further afield.

If you have an Electric car there is even great charging points at Staveley Mill Yard, the perfect place to grab a coffee whilst waiting!

Interaction with Guests:
We are available 24/7 and here to make your stay a great one, although the property has a self check in, please get in touch at anytime for recommendations and things to do.

Very well equipped flat in beautiful location

Lovely three weeks while on courses in Staveley at Waters and Acland learning cabinet making techniques. A very well equipped and very clean flat with an extremely comfy bed. I would stay there again if I come back to Staveley, and I certainly hope to.

Comfortable property in convenient location

The property very spacious for 2 people and well equipped. Well placed for walking to cafes, pub, Spar and station. Great to have large parking space. Very efficient heating system for chilly evenings. Would be happy to book again
