The VRBO had no hot water for showers. After we reported this, the host claimed that some previous guest must have turned off the water instead of taking responsibility for the VRBO not being ready for new guests. The host finally started the hot water, and we took showers. Then, the host lied that we had left the apartment doors unlocked, wide open and all the lights on all day long. The host accused us of making her apartment a target for crime, even though her story was a complete lie. She made several inconsistent and unrealistic statements and even threatened to call the police. I made a formal complaint with VRBO and we left the apartment as soon as possible. Almost everything the host said was suspicious and incongruent with reality. The apartment was not as described at all and VRBO customer service is handling my complaint now.

I will not go into the details of your review as I have already informed VRBO. I will let all the guests who came before you speak for us, as well as our professionalism since the very first day we started our business. There was hot water, it was "simply" a matter of turning the knob. You left the front door wide open, but I really prefer not to go into details that would be unpleasant for you. I am sorry for your bad faith and your "surreal" behavior. I truly hope this review can serve as a warning to all property owners because, unfortunately, not everyone is as honest as we think. In six years of business, this is the first time I have come across such characters...
