We had a marvellous stay in The Corn House. A very warm welcome, and food basket much appreciated. We were impressed with the county and enjoyed walks in Church Stretton and surrounding areas.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at The Corn House.
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at The Corn House. The owner, Nora, had kindly provided a welcome hamper and had the cottage beautifully prepared for our arrival. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped and in a peaceful location. Shrewsbury is only 10 minutes away and there is a very handy Park and Ride service nearby, making it very easy to get into the town which has lots of character and we also enjoyed a trip on the river. Ironbridge is also within very easy reach. We would happily stay there again.

A beautiful hidden gem. Tucked away in a very private, peaceful spot, with everything you need for a lovely stay. Very comfortable and clean.Wonderfully welcoming hosts, and a lovely thoughtful hamper on arrival.Just a short walk to the local friendly pub, and 10 minute walk via the public footpath to catch the bus to Shrewsbury.Perfect, just what we needed.

We made a very late booking to The Corn House and what a lucky find.
We made a very late booking to The Corn House and what a lucky find. The house is nicely tucked away behind a working (but not noisy) farm. It has been renovated to a very clever design with bedroom downstairs and living area on first floor leading to a pretty balcony with seating. The standard of decor was second to none and spotlessly clean. We had a very generous and thoughtful hamper of essential provisions waiting for us and a warm welcome from our hosts, Nora and Simon. The property felt uncluttered yet it seemed to contain everything we needed in the way of kitchen and laundry equipment. The bed was huge and had a memory foam mattress which was so comfy with beautifully laundered cotton bed linen. There`s a friendly pub just 10 mins walk away and the meal we had one evening was very good. They are not open for food every night.I wish we could have stayed longer but we`ll definately returnThank you so much
