About this property

Luxurious eco-friendly historic Farmhouse in panoramic alpine region

This over 400 year old farmhouse is being converted into a eco-friendly and luxurious holiday rental with historic charm. The house will be ready at the end of 2022. The pictures show the present progress. Rentals will start in Febuary 2023.
The house is located in Polling a historically important village in a panoramic part of the alpine region.
Please note, that the property can be rented by smaller groups. A one bedroom rental would include the complete ground floor (1 bedroom with attached bathroom, sitting room, entree, large luxury kitchen-dining room, guest toilet, gym room) the first floor and top floor would be shut. A two bedroom rental would include a second bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. A three bedroom rental would include the entire ground floor and first floor with the large living area. When rented with 4 or more bedrooms the bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor would be made available as well. In each case, the house is rented exclusively to one party only.

This is a very unique property for a vacation, and we loved staying there. The neighborhood is quiet and a short drive from grocery stores in the next town. The inside is a great mix of modern appliances and historic structure. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels, etc.

This property is very large and very well equipped with appliances, dinnerware, cookware, and toiletries. The outside kitchen area isbgreat for entertainment. The host was very attentive and quick to respond.

A truly luxurious house

This farmhouse is located in a pretty village within easy reach of Munich and of the Austrian border. The standard of the facilities is extremely high with comfortable beds, plenty of space to relax and all the kitchen accoutrements you could wish for. There is a well stocked supermarket 5 minutes’ walk along the road and 2 excellent restaurants in the village. The owner, Sabeeka, is very responsive to any questions, and is happy to offer suggestions for nearby visits and day trips. We had a wonderful stay, and would not hesitate to recommend this house as a base for exploring Bavaria.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt

Das Haus ist noch besser als auf den Bildern! Mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert und dennoch modern (Bäder, Küche, Technik). Die Küche im EG ist der Hammer! Es gibt wirklich nichts was fehlt und das Geschirr, Gläser, Besteck sind sehr zahlreich vorhanden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und haben vor allem die Außenküche mit dem großen Tisch und die Relax-Lounge ausgiebig genutzt! Trotz der Hitze war es im Haus angenehm kühl und wir haben die Milchtankstelle (um die Ecke) und den Eier-/Eis-Automaten (350m entfernt) jeden Tag genutzt. Der Edeka-Markt ist perfekt sortiert und die Käse- und Fleisch-Theke einen Besuch wert. Wir können dieses Haus und Polling samt Umgebung wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Perfektes Preis-/Leistungsvergältnis!!!

Traumhafte Zeit

Wir haben mit 10 Personen ein langes Wochenende dort verbracht. Als wir das Haus erkundet haben, kamen wir aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus. Es lässt keine Wünsche offen, super geschmackvoll und total luxuriös eingerichtet. Bietet ausreichend Platz für große Gruppen.Leider konnten wir wegen dem schlechten Wetter, die Außenanlage (Tenne)nur kurz nutzen, auch diese ist ein Traum. Vom Ort haben wir nicht viel erwartet, wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Die alte Ziegelei hat ein tolles Ambiente ebenfalls der Klosterwirt. Die Brötchen von der Klosterbäckerei waren morgens ein Genuss, ebenfalls die Eier und Milch aus dem Automaten.Der Ort hat eine Zentrale Lage für Ausflüge. Würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber.

Wunderbare Urlaubstage

Wunderschön und top renoviertes Bauerhaus. Alles genau wie beschrieben. Top ausgestattet! Es fehlt an nichts. Töpfe, Tassen, Messer etc.. Perfekte Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen, perfekten Aufenthalt. Und wie es üblich ist in einem alten Bauerhaus, darf es ab und zu knarzen. Zwei kleine Anmerkungen: Die Matratzen sind etwas hart, aber noch ok. Für 10 Personen ist die Kaffeemaschine etwas knapp. Hat aber auch funktioniert, da zwei Thermoskannen vorhanden sind.

Wunderschön renovierte Scheune/Bauernhaus, tolle Einrichtung

Geräumiges und weitläufiges Bauernhaus im Alpenvorland, das top-modern renoviert ist. Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite mit der Vermieterin. Supermarkt/Bäckerei/Milch-Automat im Ort, trotzdem stille Lage. Wir würde gerne einmal wieder kommen.
