Fantastic view over the valley

If you like a great apartment with a view over a valley containing a quaint village, this place is for you! It's close to shopping, great restaurants, and things to do! So awesome!

Wonderful Experience!

Exceeded our expectations! We were warmly welcomed to this newly remodeled home. Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery, and shops. Michael was amazing in helping us make arrangements for activities and so flexible when our flight was cancelled to assist in a place to stay as the home we were in was rented to the next people. We highly recommend this home. We would give it more then 5 stars if we could!

A Bad Experience

The property was difficult to find based on directions and the owner was not present and difficult to reach. There is no address or name for the property to help find it. The owner's mother was at the property to meet us when we eventually found it. She spoke only Spanish and spent around one minute to show us the place. We immediately conducted an inspection and found a curtain held up by a broken piece of wood. I brought the broken "curtain rod" to the owner's mother about five minutes after we arrived. I later contacted owner too. The day after checking out, the owner attempted to place a substantial charge for damages based on the broken piece of wood. Fortunately, VRBO refused the charge. I think this was all too suspicious to not be a scam.

I'm sorry you got issues finding the place. And just for you to know, is not mandatory to speak your language. This is a family business we just started and we always look positive feedback to improve our services. With that said, is important to mention that you just paid have of the price and even though we sent a request for you to make the rest of the payment, you refused to make it. Besides that, I always were comprehensive with the situation and after you hang up my call and we're extremely rude, i tried to get back to you with the vrbo representative. Be aware that even though I apologize, you denied to show up today and sent your wife, which showed me you were not capable of handling the situation. I sent the refund of the $50 charged for the damages, wich was my decision. So at the end you will just pay $30 for an apartment that cost $100 at night. Thanks though, for all your information and no matter what happened, you're always welcome.

C’est un hébergement typiquement costaricain C’est sobre mais très propre. Des recommandations ont été faites à l’hôte qui verra à bonifier les lieux. Gérard est un hôte fabuleux très disponible et même nous a offert de voir une maman paresseux à proximité. Ça été notre plus belle observation de paresseux car la mère s’est déplacée d’une branche à l’autre avec son bébé sur le ventre. Gérard nous a donné de son temps. Il ne faut pas oublier les fabuleux et généreux déjeuners préparés par sa conjointe. Je recommande cet hébergement si vous voulez vivre dans une maison sombre du Costa Rica. À noter il y a une chambre avec air climatisé et une chambre avec ventilateurs À noter erreur dans la publicité. Hébergement avec 2 chambres seulement
