Welcome to our restored 1940s farmhouse, just minutes from The Barn at Cedar Grove and located between Columbia and Greensburg, Kentucky. This peaceful country stay is perfect for wedding guests, families, and couples looking to relax in a quiet setting with easy access to local attractions. You`re within driving distance of Green River Lake, nature trails, and charming small-town shops, making this a great base for exploring south-central Kentucky.

The Space
This lovingly restored 1940s farmhouse offers a peaceful country stay in south-central Kentucky. Located just minutes from The Barn at Cedar Grove, it’s an ideal spot for wedding guests, families, or anyone craving a quiet, scenic retreat.

The main floor includes:

The Little Farmhouse is only 2 miles from The Barn at Cedar Grove. This is a quite rural setting but not far from a main highway. We are 10 minutes from Walmart and the Cumberland Parkway.

There is ample free parking.

We do not allow pets or parties without prior consent. This is a peaceful farmhouse setting, and we ask guests to respect the quiet nature of the property and our neighbors. If you have a special request, feel free to reach out in advance.

We were in Greensburg for our nephew’s wedding at The Barn venue. The little farmhouse was conveniently located close by. After the beautiful wedding, we settled in quite nicely. Clean and comfy- loved the vintage feel!

Everything was as described, only reason for 4 stars is because there were an enormous amount of flies in the house around all the lights and bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs. Other than that a very nice place on a dead end street.

If you are looking for a charming, just a little out of the way, quiet retreat, this can be the place for you. From the guestbook we see many wedding parties stay here. But is also good for family reunions or just a “fall off the map” escape. The owners have done a beautiful remodeling on this old house. Sitting out in the screened porch playing cards with family was heaven. No sirens. No cars going by. Just peaceful bliss. Recommend highly.

The Farmhouse was perfect for our weekend getaway. Our oldest son got married at The Barn. The location was excellent/convenient. The way the house was decorated was perfect too!! It had everything we needed. LOVED that it had a steamer and iron for our dresses and suits.

The property was beautiful. The attention to detail was miraculous. Even had grandma’s apron hanging in the kitchen. House was stocked with everything possibly needed ( grill, blow dryers in bathrooms, enough kitchen stuff that one could’ve cooked a full meal here). Overall, a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in and outside of this home. Thank you.

Great for small family gathering

The house us a cute old house. The kitchen is fine. We fixed an easter breakfast while there and it was fine, but would have liked a toaster. The beds are comfy. With the heat on to make it warm enough down stairs, it is HOT upstairs. So, I imagine it would be super hot in summer also. My 6 year olds slept comfortably up there, however. I slept in the bedroom with the air handler in the closet. It was a bit noisy, but I'm not a heavy sleeper either. The four kids (aged 3 - 6) had a wonderful time coloring eggs on the screened in back porch, and hunting eggs on easter morning in the yard. It was very clean and quaint. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. However, there was an ATV of some sort riding on the gravel road past the house after dark when the kids were in bed that wasn't pleasant, but otherwise, we had a fun stay as a family on easter. Thank you.

My family and I loved this house. Spaceous rooms and very clean. Really liked the retro kitchen. The screened in porch was so relaxing. We sat out there in the morning drinking our coffee and watching the deer and again in the evenings sitting around relaxing. Better value than other comparable places we've stayed at in past years. We would definitely stay here again.

A visit to the Little Farmhouse

Perfect Weekend Away

My fiance and I went to spend a quiet weekend together and this was the perfect setting. We were about an hour from Lake Cumberland, so we could also enjoy a weekend on the lake. The house is cute, private and clean! You immediately feel at home :) Thank you!
