A cosy cottage with a stunning view on the beautiful lower mill estate.

Wonderful place to have 2 families or family and grandparents to stay. This cottage is one of very few detached properties with a beautiful veranda overlooking the lakes and its own jetty to launch kayaks, paddles boards or go for a swim. The facilities and feel of the lower mill estate is very exclusive and creates a peaceful atmosphere but with lots of things to keep the children and teenagers entertained both on site and close by.

Thanks for taking the time to submit a review and I am really glad you enjoyed your time at Mill Village 68. Just one point I should make for anyone who reads this review is that swimming is not permitted in this lake, only non powered boating.

A lovely cosy house on the lake . the only thing that could have made it a better stay was the weather and i know Orion holidays cant affect that. Will be back to this great house .

Fabulous half term trip

We had a really wonderful stay. We were two families and were a bit worried that it was going to feel small for us but it was actually a really good size. The terrace is amazing and we’d love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy it. We found lots of lovely things to do nearby and it was great not having to take the car everywhere.

We stayed for 2 nights. Had a very relaxing weekend. It rained on and off but didn’t impact us too much. House had everything we needed. Village is beautiful. Cafe was handy.

Multigenerational break

Great location, house position on lake was excellent. House well equipped with everything we needed for a family break, kitchen well stocked, bedding & towels very good. Negatives, soft furnishings very tired, cushions! carpets! Out door furniture seats & cushions need replacing, stained & damp. Complex was very nice, outdoor heated pool brilliant, dinner at Balihoo. Lots for the children 9,12 years old. We all enjoyed a lovely break.
