The location is fantastic. It’s in Battersea and while it’s south of River Thames it has readily accessible access to bus system that takes you to heart of London. Property was perfectly sized and in a great location. Communication with host was great

# Booker beware#I didn’t get to see the property because the host contacted me ‘when i was on the way to the airport’ to say that the 3rd night of my stay was double booked and we’d have to move. I had booked this back 5 months ago. After ringing VRBO it was agreed that we would stay the first two nights and move to a hotel on the last night, for a part refund and compensation. Then the host cancelled the whole booking anyway and left me having to re book the whole stay, whilst travelling by plane and train. I actually arrived in Luton airport with x4 people and no where to stay, two semi final FA matches were on plus the London marathon that weekend.I was therefore forced to book a poor hotel at a premium price. ##So as they say buyer beware on this listing##The host kept blaming his system, well Alex your system sucks mate! You had every opportunity to catch on to this sooner and you miserably failed. You also tried to get me to cancel direct with yourself which is against VRBO policy and would have compromised any compensation i may have received. VRBO were excellent though and really did live up to their customer service expectations.

Newly renovated - not far from transportation
Though close to transportation this property was not easy to find. It has been renovated, though not completely clear of owner's clothing and personal items - it was a bit awkward to utilize some closets. Bedrooms are very tight, leaving no room for dealing with luggage. Owner was hard to reach on check-in date, adding a bit of stress. Hopefully they will have a better system for confirming check-in in the future. Lovely, open, kitchen counter, and it was great to have xtra day bed with additional sofas in the living room to accommodate our need for extra sleeping spot. Wish we would've been able to enjoy the patio. The place has nice lighting, and great shades for light, yet privacy. It is evident that the place has been under renovations. Loved that it was close walking to the Thames. Area feels like it is in transition, with new apartments and development close by.
