The location of the property is great if you are wanting a peaceful base to explore further afield. You do need to be prepared to drive/get a taxi to shops. Our stay was just before the end of the season so some places had already closed for the winter. We had everything we needed. Unfortunately the road connecting the property to the main road was undergoing roadworks and was therefore closed. We had to use an unmade "road" which wasn't too much of a problem but might have been too much for a nervous driver. This obviously wasn't the fault of the property owner. Our host was very friendly and keen to make sure that we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay.
