About this property

Cozy apartment in the city center close to nature and main attractions

Comfy bed, quiet place, safe neighbourhood. You will have well equipped kitchen, private bathroom with shower and washing machine. There are dining and sitting areas, big smart TV, free WiFi. You can use the table as a desk for work. There are two entrances, one directly from the yard to the living-room. The key is in the locker box on the left hand side of the main entrance. Our guest have access to the house's sauna for a fee. Parking is free and is right next to the apartment. Electric outlet for the car is for a fee.

We visited Savonlinna for the Opera and stayed in this adorable little apartment. Very charming and beds were very comfortable. Close to the market and nature all around us. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Great location

It is a basic basement apartment in a very central location. Our first impression was that it was stuffy and on the edge of town. But there are walking paths and trails that take you downtown directly via a pedestrian bridge, and a short path the takes you to the amazing little path that take you to the bridge to sulosaari island.

Very good moment in Savonlinna

Discover Savonlinna while we were living in this flat is a very good moment. The flat is well located (no car needed for visit the city) well equiped, clean and cosy... We gained quite an experience in welcoming guests in two apartments. Our priority is cleanliness of the property and comfort of our guests. Your hosts live in the same building and are ready to help if needed. Finns appreciate privacy, so we try to make your stay very private, no contact check-in or check-out. We speak Finnish, English, Russian, and some Estonian.

Why they chose this property

Great location to explore Savonlinna and, of course, great for the Opera Festival guests, as the Olavinlinna Castle is 15 minutes walking distance. Many tourists head to Lapland and choose to stop on the way in Savonlinna, as it is very cozy city surrounded by lakes. Our guests enjoy city walks, and beautiful path onto the Sulosaari and Verkkosaari Islands. You can make your own meals, or dine out walking to the restaurants nearby.

Clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet. Make your breakfast and sit by the window or, if weather permits, on the terrace outside. Explore the city or surroundings, and come to house's sauna, then enjoy your evening with a book or your favourite shows on Netflix.
