Baliemore Cottage is set in a remote yet stunningly scenic location, with a small shop and restaurant at Castle Sween Holiday Park located 3 miles away. It is on the other side of the estate with views of The Sound of Jura over Loch Sween. Baliemore Cottage is great for those who enjoy walking or watching wildlife, you can take a walk along the hill road where you might see local wildlife such as deer, foxes or red squirrels. Walk by the water heading to Castle Sween Holiday Park and you might be lucky to spot otters or seals. Kilmory Chapel and Beach are only a couple of miles away. There is an opportunity for a more relaxed stroll to Stronefield Beach.

The shoreline is made up of many little inlets, small islands, rocky coastline with lovely sandy beaches. A self catering holiday here offers a wonderful and relaxing location for couples. There is much to explore along the coastline but with two large private estates covering over 15,000 acres there are great walks, pretty glens and many excellent trout lochs. Cyclists and mountain bikers will be spoilt for choice on the many quiet roads, tracks and trails.
