About this property

Peaceful 4 Bedroom 6 Acre Ranch House With Mountain Views In Beautiful Ojai

Located in Upper Ojai just 10 minutes from the heart of downtown, our magnificent mountain home has a breathtaking view of the Topa Topa mountains. Our spacious two story home has glass French doors leading to massive decks front and back-great for outdoor dining, reading, bird watching, or warming up by the fire pit (note: fire pit is not available in the summer months). On the back porch is a hot tub that seats 5 adults, perfect for star gazing and a glass of wine. The back yard is grassed and perfect for a game of football or soccer.

The game room area has a billiards table, and darts.

Up the open wooden staircase is a library with reading area overlooking the Los Padres Mountain range. It also houses 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite has a comfortable King sized bed and a day bed great for young kids. The suite also has a jetted tub and separate standing shower.

-bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed
-bedroom 2 has 2 Full Beds
-bedroom 3 has 1 King and 1 Twin Bed
-the master suit has a King Bed and Twin Bed

The large rock fireplace in the Great Room creates warm community and conversation.

Wow. I used this property for a women’s retreat on entering The Fifth Season on life and it was magical!!! We used every space the amazing property had to offer!! It was a magical weekend and the home had everything we needed! The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything and more!! The art was amazing and purposeful!!! We had coffee on the rap around porch and all day in the back with hawks soaring and the beautiful sound of nature. I could not have dreamt of a more perfect property!!They was in issue with VRBO and Kimberley was amazing, walking me though the process!! Thank you Kimberley for offer such an amazing and magical place to the community!!

Gorgeous home on a more gorgeous property!

We were a group of 6 adults doing a quick weekend out of LA and loved this place. Close to town, but on a huge private piece of land with lovely trees. Beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of space to hang out. Well stocked kitchen as well! Was a great stay

Beautiful home, really enjoyed our stay!

My girlfriends and I loved being immersed in nature during our stay. We hiked, went in the hottub, cooked and dined, played pool and enjoyed exploring the property. It was very comfortable for a group of 9 women. I can’t wait to be back in Ojai!

We were in Ojai for the big tennis tournament and stayed in this wonderful home. It is so serene and peaceful with lots of space. Kitchen is well stocked, has games, books, just an overall great place. Megan was very responsive too. We hope to stay again next year.

Long weekend in Ojai

Enjoyed the property with my wife, brother in law and his wife + 2 kids (6 and 8 year olds). We had so much fun playing games in and outside of the house, walking the grounds, checking for eggs, relaxing in the hot tub, and so on! Really unique and fun place to stay- with comfort to boot. Short drive into Ojai proper for more activities and restaurants. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing getaway

This property was a dream. The house and grounds were were large and well maintained. Front and back yards were great to explore, with beautiful nature all around. 15 minute drive into town where we had several great meals from local restaurants. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Good option for a rustic stay in remote part of Ojai

The house is great. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the darts and pool table. It’s about 10 minutes from Ojai, which wasn’t a problem for us although it may be for some. The only thing I would change about this house is adding a bathroom downstairs. You have to go upstairs to use the bathroom when hanging out with your guests.

We stayed at this location knowing we had a good amount of family coming to town for our son's graduation. It was idyllic and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. We were able to cook and have family meals and guests over. The hot tub and porch were equally appreciated. My younger son would have liked to have known how to better operate the tele, but we didn't feel like rushing to correct the lack of understanding. Beautiful place! We will miss Ojai.

Spacious house In beautiful mountain location

Six of us, including a toddler, stayed here for family wedding. The cozy of the house w fireplace and pool table made for a wonderful sanctuary during an epic rain/sleet storm. Manager clear in directions and even provided her daughter as babysitter during wedding. My only caution would be for all wheel drive for driving on mud slick roads.

Home away from home

To celebrate our 50 and 55th birthdays, we rented this delightful property for ourselves and close friends. Outside and inside were just as pictured. It also included plenty of dishes, mugs, glasses and cookware, as we prepared a few meals during our stay. The livingroom also had a smart tv to stream movies on. Loved that there were well kept chickens on the property along with fruit trees and the sound of a nearby stream. It is about 10 minutes to town which was just close and far enough. I would mention that there is only a charcoal and not gas bbq on the property. Not a big deal but for meal planning would be helpful to know. Really enjoyed our stay with our party of five. Thank you!

The check in process was easy and the communication was great. The property is on a Sulphur mountain which has a slight smell at times (nice to take into consideration) but obviously I know the property owners have no control over that. The main thing were the dishes and utensils were dirty and the bath towels were stained. Also the guest bathroom toilet wasn’t working properly. They had a plumber come out to fix promptly which was nice. If it were just one of these issues, I wouldn’t mind, but since it was all 3 it just kind of grossed me out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect place for a women's relaxation get-away!!

Seven ladies age range between 40s - 60s needed a long weekend get-away from our daily lives and found this gem of a property that fit our needs perfectly. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved waking up and sitting on the front porch with cup of coffee and a view of the garden. You are welcomed to help yourself to eggs from the chicken coup located in the back of the property and were fortunate to enjoy 6 eggs while there. What a great touch! The kitchen was well-equipped for all your cooking needs. We spent several evenings sitting in the living room area relaxing with a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed that so much that we never got to use the hot tub located on the deck behind the house when we planned to. Quaint Downtown Ojai was only a pleasant 10 minute drive away with wonderful restaurants to dine at(Ojay Rotie and Nocciola were excellent restaurants). We also went on a hike on the Shelf Trail which gave a us a beautiful view of the Ojai Valley. Overall...this home and Ojai was EXACTLY what we were looking for!The only things to note about the property is that all bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms are located upstairs with no toilet downstairs and the hallway bathroom's shower pressure is a bit weak. Thank you Kimberly for being quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay.

Great Getaway!
