Stunning Modern Glam Beach House Getaway in Ventura California

Welcome to Ian + G’s Modern Glam Beach House Getaway! This remodeled, quaint, Mid-Century home is located approximately 5 miles (10 minutes) from the Ventura Harbor, Ventura State Beach & The Ventura Pier. This home has been designed to provide peace and sanctuary during your stay in Ventura. It is roomy enough for **8 guests or families w/children. Perfect for tourists, business travelers or lodging for extra family members who are visiting for your special events!

This 1144 sq. ft. home includes:

- 3 Bedrooms: “The Garden Room” (1 Cal King,) “The Mirror Room” (1 Queen) and “The Surf Room" (2 Twin beds). All beds have Memory Foam mattresses. Each Bedroom is equipped with remote controlled ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms are also equipped with 42” flat screen, smart TV’s. There is also a spare Queen size, motorize Air Mattress for 2 extra guests, located in "The Mirror Room" closet. For those with an infant, there is a Playpen in the closet located in "The Surf Room." Please Note: this playpen is NOT a Pack n Play nor a Crib for sleeping.

- A fully stocked kitchen with Calphalon pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cups, toaster oven, coffee maker, a fire extinguisher and all new Stainless Steel Appliances: Microwave, Dishwasher, Stove, Refrigerator with water dispenser & ice maker and more.

- A glamorous, cozy living room which includes: a Human Touch Bali massage chair, comfortable chaise lounge sofa, 2 full size chairs and a 65” Flat Screen TV controlled by a Apple TV device with Wifi access. Please note: cable is built into the smart TV. It just works differently from the standard cable platform by accessing it using the Input button on the TV remote control.

- A Dining room with a dining table and 4 chairs. The 5th chair is in the "Surf Room" and there are 3 extra folding chairs are in the side closet of the Master bedroom.

- 1 Full bath stocked with a hair dryer, curling irons, towels, soap, shampoo and lotion.

- Outside Laundry room includes: a washer, dryer, toilet, sink and detergent supplies. Ironing board, Iron and 2 TV trays are located in “The Garden Room” - Master bedroom side closet.

- Front porch patio seating and small table

- Side, gated patio with a family style picnic table, patio outdoor seating, a *Fire Pit, a BBQ grill and a storage bin with 5 beach/camping chairs and an Igloo cooler.

- A Nest Doorbell which also has a built-in camera. It is located outside of the front door and it is there to monitor people coming in and out of the house. As per the law, we absolutely DO NOT have cameras inside the house.

*Please Note: There is a 1 time fee of: $45 for the use of each, Fire Pit or BBQ grill (both will require a propane tank refill and cleaning.) There is a discounted fee of $80 if you wish to use both. If interested, you must let us know and make a payment at least 24 hours before your Check-in day. This allows us ample time to prep the Fire Pit and/or the BBQ grill. Payment methods will be discussed after you book your stay.

**The MAXIMUM lodging/sleeping occupancy for this house is: 8 people (infants/babies not included.) This is mandated by the city of Ventura = 2 guests for each bedroom + 2 extra guests. Any more than 8 people sleeping at the property will be a violation of the city rules and will be cause for immediate eviction. Of course, visitors are allowed to visit, but not to lodge or sleep there.

***Please Note: There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and in the living room which are sufficient enough for Ventura's temperate Beach climate. During the spring and summer, the average temperature in Ventura ranges between 60 degrees to 78 degrees Fahrenheit with low humidity.

Also, we just installed new centralized heating and AC in the house. It is controlled by a Smart thermostat located on the hallway wall. There are also 2 portable heaters, 1 in the twin room and master bedroom closets. During the fall/winter, the average day temperature is between 60 degrees - 70 degrees and can get hot during the day and chilly at night (45 degrees - 56 degrees.) So you may want to bring a jacket/coat for the evenings.

However, Ventura County in general, does not have extreme weather conditions. So you will definitely enjoy your stay in one of California's best Beach cities!

GUEST ACCESS
The entire house, driveway and back/front yards are accessible EXCEPT for: the garage, the tool shed in the backyard and 3 linen/pantry cabinets. The front door is controlled by an August Lock which requires a Door Code to access the house. This Door Code will be given to you after you book your stay. The outside side gate is locked by a different coded lock on the front. For security reasons, the side gate is to remain locked at all times. If you need access through the gate (i.e. to store bicycles, surf boards, etc.,) please let us know after you book with us and we will give you the gate code.


CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:

Check-In time is 3:00 PM
Check-Out time is 10:00 AM


ARRIVING EARLY:

EARLY CHECK INS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please be aware that if you arrive EARLIER than your 3pm check-in time, YOUR DOOR CODE WILL NOT WORK. You must wait till EXACTLY 3pm, unless we have approved your early arrival 2 days in advance!!

Our cleaning crew runs on a tight schedule and they need ample time to thoroughly clean and disinfect the house, per COVID-19 city/county rules, between each guests' stay.

Thus, YOU NEED APPROVAL from us, 2 days in advance, if you wish to enter the property before your check-in time of 3:00 pm.


CHECKING-OUT LATE:

You will have some grace time of about 15 minutes after your 10:00 AM check-out time. But the door code will remain invalid at exactly 10:00 AM. If you need extra time, YOU MUST CONTACT US IN ADVANCE, as the cleaning crew is generally scheduled to arrive at 10:15 AM! They also require a 48-24 hour advance notice for any schedule changes. So if you stay past 10:30 AM, you WILL be charged an extra fee of our discretion.


ARRIVING LATE:

As for arriving late on your check-in date, it is perfectly ok. Your front door code will be activated and valid after 3pm on your check-in day. Thus, you may arrive ANY time after 3pm of your check-in day.

Lastly, we have implemented enhanced cleaning methods after each guest check-out. Our cleaning crew uses commercial grade disinfectants instead of green cleaning products (as these will not kill the corona virus) as well as a special machine to disinfect all areas of the house, including the furniture. There are also hand sanitizers for your use in the house and wet/hand wipes in one of the kitchen drawers.
