Great base for a weekend trip to Ventura

In addition to a great experience at the property, the owner was willing to work with us on a late check out because I had a road race that ended afterwards. We ended up not needing it, but it was Great to have some options.

Pictures dont tell the whole story

The home is located in a fairly crowded suburb on a small lot. Despite the small size, there are two trailers in the front yard which are both occupied and appear to be rentals. This is not clear in the VRBO decription. There was an ant problem in the bathroom. No instructions for internet access. Heater remote didnt work. Back yard was astroturf, fake flowers and living trees,, just an odd mix. of privacy. Parking was difficult.

Very clean, all as advertised. Short drive to Ventura & Ojai, which was our destination for the weekend. Good communications with owner/property mgmt.

Great location to the wedding we attended

Older home, could use another couch to watch tv together. Beds were comfortable, nice to have washing machine and dryer.
