Set on the top two floors of a traditional sandstone apartment block, Ashton View hosts a striking social space and 4 bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room. With Glasgow University, Ashton Lane and the Subway on your doorstep, this 160 year old fully modernised flat on Byres Road includes:

Guest access Your group will have the sole use of Ashton View for your stay.
Ashton View is in the absolute heart of Glasgow's bustling West End. Step straight out to Byres Road for local shops, bars, eateries, cinema, supermarkets and amenities all within seconds of the front door.
The picturesque Ashton Lane is famous for quality restaurants, beer gardens and late night karaoke and is less than 1 minute walk from Ashton View. Glasgow University and Scotland's oldest museum, The Hunterian, are just 5 minutes walk away and boast some of the country's finest architecture. Glasgow's famous Underground is less than 1 minute walk from the apartment. This allows you quick access to the city centre.
Lots of amenities are available within walking distance, however if you decide to venture in to the city the Underground gets you in to the city centre in 10 minutes.
If travelling from Glasgow Central train station, you can take the Underground from Hillhead straight to Buchanan Street or St Enoch and walk to Central Station. If travelling from Queen Street train station Buchanan Street Underground takes you there from Hillhead.
A taxi stance is right outside the front door should you wish to take a taxi. Buses operate frequently from both Byres Road and nearby Great Western Road.
On street paid parking is available - this is free before 8am, after 6pm and all weekend.Ashton View has other listings with different room configurations - please ensure you select the appropriate listing for your group to ensure the required number of rooms are unlocked and made available to you.
Other things to note Please note the sleeping arrangements at Ashton View: this listing has 2 bedrooms downstairs - bedroom 1 has a Super King size bed and bedroom 2 has a King size bed. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms both with King size beds - these can both be altered to 2 single beds. If you prefer rooms set up as twin rooms instead of having King size beds we can arrange this for you - just ask.
Finally we have a Travel Cot and High Chair available upon request without charge.

AWESOME property in Glasgow! The host worked with us to get us in 1 day early when our other rental property fell through. We REALLY appreciated him for that. All amenities were top notch. We give this property our highest recommendation.
Exemplary apartment,host, and location. it went beyond our greatest expectations. If we are ever in Glasgow again, we would certainly stay there every time.
We could not have been more thrilled with the house and location. Your house has a perfect layout and you could tell a tremendous amount of work and care was used in remodeling. We loved the close proximity to the subway, restaurants and bars. We traveled with our adult children and everyone enjoyed the space and amenities. By far the nicest apartment we have ever stayed in.What a beautiful home. Immaculately presented, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean.Excellent communication from the hosts and a seamless check in/out.Location wise, there are plenty of supermarkets and places to eat near the apartment and we did not feel the need to use our car during our stay. There are plenty of cheap, long stay carpark options too.I would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone looking to visit Glasgow and look forward to returning.
Absolutely beautiful apartment in a great location! I cannot recommend this enough if you are looking for a truly luxury experience. Every detail has been thought of and the hosts could not have done enough for us before and during our stay. They kept in touch in the lead up and were so accommodating we can’t thank them enough. It is in a perfect location for exploring and surrounded by lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. Honestly, we struggled to leave the apartment it was so spectacular with everything you could possibly need and more. Thank you again, you have made our trip unforgettable!
Our stay at Ashton View was perfect. The property was recently renovated with a keen eye for detail and comfort, and Ashton View is brimming with loads of character. The check-in process was very thorough and informative. In addition to unique furniture and fixtures, beautiful live plants, and needed accoutrement, Ashton View was stocked with wine, beer, candy, and other unique Scottish items for enjoyment. We traveled with our young son (~30 months) and really leaned into enjoying the property as our "home away from home" for a week, and it was well suited for relaxation and entertainment. It is also well situated in the West End of Glasgow and there is plenty to do in the surrounding neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be able to enjoy Ashton View again. Bravo!
