The famous Earl of Rone festival and an annual carnival are both hosted in Combe Martin each year in May. With Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple all within easy driving distance, this is a great starting point for exploring and learning about North Devon. Additionally, there are many National Trust homes and gardens that are just waiting to be explored. Woolacombe has some of the best surfing in the South West, and the South West Coastal Path is about a mile away. Combe Martin is an excellent starting point for taking a beach vacation because it offers activities for all ages.
