Modern 3 Bedroom Bungalow with Fantastic Views Over the Bay of Combe Martin

St Crispin's is a 3 bedroom bungalow which sleeps 7. It also has a travel cot, high chair, booster seat etc for a baby.

New furnishing and flooring and recently decorated.

A large kitchen fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare a family meal. Utility room held off of the kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and sink. Access to the garden through the utility room. Large, bright and airy lounge with beamed ceiling and access to the balcony.

The lounge and balcony have a spectacular view over the sea and Combe Martin, the balcony is the perfect place to sit and eat your fish and chips and watch the world go by.

Double bedroom with king size bed and an en-suite shower room, large double shower, toilet and basin. There is plenty of space for the additional single chair bed in this room, perfect for a child but big enough for an adult too.

Two other twin bedrooms situated either side of the main bathroom, which has a bath with a power shower over the bath, basin and toilet.

All bedrooms contain wardrobes and a chest of drawers for your use.

Great stay!

The property was better than expected, the photos don't do it justice. Beautiful location overlooking the bay and fantastic sunsets. Very clean, well equipped and spacious even with 3 adults and 4 children. It's on a steep short road, but within walking distance of shops, beach and pubs. Great base to explore North Devon and would definitely stay here again.

Property is immaculate with attention to detail throughout making it a very comfortable stay. Views are too beautiful for words. Weather was not too kind, but we enjoyed the location exploring Heddon Valley and surrounding area. Enjoyed a delicious authentic curry at Barricane Beach, Woolacombe. We really hope to return next year.

Immaculate bungalow with a stunning view

Lovely bungalow in a great location. As others have said the view is just wow! Short walk down to the village and beach and right on the coastal path. The bungalow itself is a really good size and was immaculately clean and tidy. Spacious kitchen had everything we needed and the separate utility was great. There was only myself, the hubby and our dog but a larger family could easily be accommodated here. DVD’s, books and games were an additional thoughtful touch.

Quiet Spot with a Picture postcard view

St Crispins was a great weekend away with not the best weather but the view spoilt us even with the rain. All facilities you need in the house, with plenty of space to share inside and out. Up a steep slope for those who are less mobile but you can drive up to the front of the house and the steps up to the house with hand rail are very good. All as per description by owners, thank you for our stay.

A fabulous property overlooking the beautiful cove beach of Combe Martin. Well presented with everything you need for a family break away from the normal daily routine. We loved it so much we plan on coming back soon.

Lovely house in a lovely location

We had a lovely stay at St Crispins. The house had everything we needed, and more (like foil, hand soap, dishwasher). Thighs definitely got a good workout walking down and up the hill several times a day walking the dogs down to the beach! Great communication with Alix.

5th visit and just as lovely

This was our fourth visit to the bungalow and just as enjoyable as previous visits. The weather was not quite up to scratch but we still spent several evening on the balcony watching the world. As in my other reviews I do warn people that the hill from the beach to the house is Steep!

Second visit and just as great as the first.

Absolutely lovely. A very easy house to live in with everything our group needed. The balcony view is wonderful. There is a challenging hill from beach to house which was hard for me on our first visit, but this time, thanks to a knee replacement I was up and down and in the rock pools with my grandchildren.

Lovely holiday home in a wonderful location, must be one of the best views in Combe Martin. The bungalow is spacious well equipped comfortable and was spotless when we arrived. Looking at the photos I was a bit concerned about parking as we have a 7 seater people carrier however we had no problems parking or turning.

Family Staycation

The experience was let down by the lack of attention to detail in cleaning. We found sweet wrappers under the tv cabinet and behind the lounge curtain. The washing machine was left with the door shut and smelt when it was opened. The bedding and towels didn’t smell fresh and a couple of towels and sheets had stains although they had been washed. The wheelie bin also had loose rubbish in the bottom which had been there some time. On the last day we sent a text message to the maintenance contact to say the en-suite shower was leaking from the control panel. We didn’t receive an acknowledgment that this had been received and would be acted upon.

Did not receive my pre arrival details but through Vrbo spoke to the property owner who was extremely helpful - did not receive the 2nd email but it was already explained very well over the phone. Comfortable bungalow with great views

Really enjoyed our stay in the property which has very impressive views from the balcony/ lounge over Combe Martin bay. The description was accurate and communications with the owner were good. The property is located on a steep hill with steps from the parking area to the front door but this wasn’t a problem to us. Only improvement would be some more comfortable patio chairs to enjoy the outdoor space. Others would happily recommend.

We have spent many weeks in Combe Martin at our parents home with our three children, exploring the different beaches and rock pools and different days out in the area.
We have also been on many different walks around the area so any advice you would like on the area please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Why they chose this property

We bought our parents place because it is in such a fantastic location with superb views out to sea that we couldn't let the property leave the family. It also means we still get the opportunity to visit from time to time.

What makes this property unique

Once you arrive at the property you can park up at the property and leave your vehicle for the duration of the stay. Everything in Combe Martin is within walking distance. The beach, shops, plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from.
The USP is definitely the view - you will not be disappointed!
