Lyndon is in a quiet residential road with unrestricted parking. It is a large completely refurbished Victorian terraced house with a wealth of charming original features and sea views from all front rooms. Internal decoration is a clever combination of modern and vintage furniture, comfortable beds and cotton bedding. Two high quality Aqualiser showers. One bath. Sleeps 8 people.

First floor has1 kingsize 4 poster bedroom with handbasin, twin beds bedroom and large family bathroom with cast iron slipper bath and shower. Second floor has 1 double bedroom and twin beds bedroom with bathroom with shower and sea views.
Landscaped rear garden with wisteria covered pergola, dining for 8 and BBQ. Off road parking space and no parking restrictions in road. July/august Saturday to Saturday bookings only

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
The recycle boxes and waste bins must be left by the path. The items for sorting recycle is listed on the inside of the front door. Please clean bar b q after use
Please shut all windows as birds can get in and there may not be a guest after you. Empty dishwasher and check nothing left in tumble dryer or washing machine
Turn heating thermostat down to frost if you have used it. Return keys to where you found them. Do not leave/give the cleaner any keys

My husband and I love restoring houses. We both come from art and architecture backgrounds with a wealth of experience in the antique and restoration trade. My husband had his own London based landscape business before moving into property renovations. He has lovingly landscaped the rear garden, creating an intimate yet spacious eating area in our south facing garden and surrounding by pretty, fragrant planting.
Why they chose this property
We love this house. It has high ceilings, tall windows and full of light. South facing rear garden dining area that has been carefully landscaped to include brick built BBQ. The three storey house has sea views from all floors too! We have carefully restored original architectural features and flooring to a high standard, decorated with Farrow and Ball paint and selected comfortable mattresses. We have chosen new and antique furniture, modern and traditional original artworks. We have created a most energy efficient home, without spoiling the Victorian structure.
What makes this property unique
Ilfracombe was established as a Victorian holiday destination and built in the 19th century. It holds the charm of the 'Victorian holiday' with an active fishing harbour but with all the expectations of a 21st century holiday. It is full of life and with lots to do. The house is 4 miles from the popular surf beach of Woolacombe, 8 miles from Croyde and in shooting distance to masses of amazing attractions or activities. Unlike the surf beach locations, Ilfracombe has lots to see and do on bad weather days and in the evenings-all within walking distance and for all ages.
