Location is NOT everything.
There are 3 things I wish the description of this property had included on the VRBO site.
1. Parking. While it does say there is parking it DOES NOT say that it costs over $5 an hour. This information came up AFTER I had booked the property at which time I was unable to cancel with out being charged 50% of the price. I called VRBO and they transferred me to the property manager who said they would pay half the parking but would not cancel my booking even though I'd JUST made it. Once we got there we realized that covering half our parking probably wasn't going to happen.
2. The property is on the third floor, the stairs are narrow, dark, steep and don't feel too clean either. There is no lift available.
3. The VRBO site shows pictures of a kitchen, what it doesn't tell you is that you will be sharing that facility with TWO other rooms. This could turn out to be a fun way to meet new people, but I'd prefer to know about it before I get there.
If I'd known any of these three things I would not have booked this property. Once we got there and got in the room, it did not feel clean. Maybe it was, but it didn't feel clean. The Double bed was made up but looked lumpy, and like it would sag in the middle. There were two pullout beds, but the springs were coming off, and while there were pillows and a coverlet in the wardrobe, there were not linens. We did not stay. We cut our losses, and were able to extend our stay ant the next hotel we had booked.
