Swallow Cottage is a pretty stone built single storey cottage has an attractive courtyard setting part of a former farm buildings conversion. Situated in the tiny farm hamlet of Branton in the foothills of the Cheviot Hills, the cottage is surrounded by outstanding walking country.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge. TV/DVD player, CD player, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 1 car. Communal courtyard and gardens, picnic bench, barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.2 miles, pub 2.5 miles, beach 16.4 miles. Note: Starter pack of logs for woodburning stove is provided. Note: The property is not suitable for children under the age of 2

Town: The small pretty Northumberland village of Powburn is situated in the foothills of the Cheviots and surrounded by glorious countryside. The village has a shop and a wide range of amenities are available in the nearby market town of Alnwick. The village makes an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland National Park, Alnwick with its imposing castle (known to millions as Hogwarts School in Harry Potter!), the impressive castle gardens and The Treehouse Restaurant. The spectacular coastline, the attractive towns of Wooler and Rothbury and the well known National Trust country house and gardens at Cragside are all within easy reach.
