For a slice of heaven, it doesn’t get much better than this. Phenomenal volcanic views, cool cavernous interiors…welcome to Santorini at its sexiest. Once a working bakery, this villa has been transformed into the perfect hide-away, great for couples or a small group of friends.
Villa GAIA consists of two cave houses, set on an upper and lower level, connected with exterior stairs..It is rented as a whole and you use both levels with two terraces and an outdoors Jacuzzi plunge pool.
The upper level offers a smooth, cool sculpted interior with an easy flow from one living area to the next. It consists of a light and airy living room, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. The master bedroom leading from the living area, offers a cozy bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two mattresses pushed together as a double so we can put two sheets or put a double sheet to make a Queen, the bedroom is served with en-suite bathroom and a vista to knock your socks off. A private balcony provides the perfect outdoor area for enjoying the uninterrupted volcano view.
Exterior stairs connect you with the lower floor.
Enter the lower floor cave house - if you can take your eyes off the view that is! – which offers fresh white interiors with the continuous flow from living space to bedroom creating a quietly cool and friendly atmosphere. This floor boasts a spacious double bedroom with a gorgeous en-suite bathroom with his and hers vanities. Ideally a cave house for two, there is additional sleeping room for extra guests on the banquette style couch, which is serviced by a second bathroom just off the lounge. For those who love to cook, the piece-de-resistance of this villa will most definitely be the kitchen – an uninterrupted Caldera view from your stove top. A private sun drenched terrace with soul-stirring views and outdoor Jacuzzi – plunge pool complete the picture.
Villa GAIA claim an enviable position in the village of Imerovigli, and guests can enjoy the myriad of shops and excellent restaurants which are within a few minutes leisurely stroll from the houses.

Favorite Rental I’ve Ever Stayed

We stayed in Santorini for 3 nights and this place was perfect for our group (3 couples). Loved that the location was within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops, Fira, and even the walking trail to Oia. The property manager was very helpful and the apartment was spacious and had every amenity we needed. The views are amazing from every level of the property and we loved finishing our nights in the warm plunge pool.

Perfect Setting

The Villa was lovely! Located in Imerovigli, the location of this Santorini villa is at one of the best views of the Caldera. The rooms were spacious and clean. A few minutes walk to Fira and many restaurants, or better, stay in Imerovigli and eat in a more peaceful environment. We shared this Villa with another couple who had their own area of the Villa, and it worked very well.

Epic villa, in a great location! Must stay.

Where do I start? It was easy to book, the communication with property manager was easy with timely responses. And working with the Villa Manager Jackie was outstanding. When we finally arrived, wow what a view with an outstanding location. I believe we had the best villa. Villa was super clean, the pool was epic and our ability to walk to local stores and restaurants was ideal. Regarding the location, 20 min walk to Fria, and 20 min drive to Oia. No risk in staying at this Villa.

The Villa Gaia was absolutely exceptional! We were celebrating our sister's 50th birthday so there were 4 of us sharing the villa. Everything was immaculate and the pictures did the property justice - the views were spectacular. We were greeted by Jackie, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to ensure everything that we needed was provided. Our driver, Nikko, was GREAT! Was very helpful and was a great guide. Provided insight and made great suggestions for dinner, places to go see, etc. Can't express our delight in this property and the staff enough - needless to say, when we return to Santorini we will be staying at Villa Gaia!

Perfect Vacation!

We just returned from a 6 night stay in Villa Gaia. I cannot say enough good things about this villa and the service we received from start to finish. The view is spectacular! At times it didn't even seem real! The villa was spotless and the perfect spot for two couples traveling together - we each had our own space, but could gather together on the balcony for breakfast or cocktails and marvel at the view. We loved staying in Imerovigli - close enough to Fira to walk, but out of the hustle and bustle of cruise ship passengers visiting Fira or Oia. There is a great little market, Jimmy's just at the top of the hill so very convenient for stocking up and Cafe Imerovigli was one of our favorite places to go. Everything about this place was perfect. And, the service from Petros and his team was top notch. When there was a little glitch with the water, all we had to do was email and he responded immediately and took care of everything. He was very helpful in arranging for a car rental and transfers to the airport on our departure. The size of the villa is perfect with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchens are small, but have everything you need for making breakfast or cooking dinners. And, the place was spotless. Thank you, Petros and team for making this a vacation we will always remember. Can't wait to come back to Villa Gaia!
