We stayed here for Christmas and had the most amazing time! The lodge is so clean and can not get over the little details they put into your stay. We all had a little chocolate on the bed and our daughter, a selection box. There was also some prosecco, mince pies, a card, and a bag of essential items (plus a jar of dog treats). The hot tub is perfect and kept clean. The site is lovely to walk around and is really well maintained. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and you get a phone call on your first morning to check all is OK.We have never been away for Christmas, and this really made it all such a special time. We will definitely be back again.

Myself and my partner stayed here recently with our dog. The standard of the accommodation was excellent, especially considering it was a dog friendly lodge. The value for money here is excellent, I'd highly recommend this place to anybody. We will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely time, even though the site is small, the lodges are fantastic.

We had a lovely time, even though the site is small, the lodges are fantastic. They have everything you need for your stay. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere just us in our lodge and hot tub. Great garden centre with cafe, plus other gems of shops out the back of the garden centre. Nice pub also. You don't need to venture far if you don't want to.

Willow Pastures is a beautiful place to stay.

Willow Pastures is a beautiful place to stay. It's so peaceful and has some lovely walks in the area. It's pretty near to the city centre (15 mins drive) as well as the beach (Hornsea). The staff are really helpful and lodges are lovely. My only area of improvement would be that the beds aren't very comfortable. However, that could just be my preference. I'd definitely still return though.

Despite this being a pet friendly lodge, it’s impossible to know a dog has stayed before hand

Despite this being a pet friendly lodge, it’s impossible to know a dog has stayed before hand as it is always cleaned flawlessly! There are lots of pet friendly places nearby and staff are happy to see dogs! There’s a nature walk around the park and a Pennine Trail out the back which is ideal for dog walking. The lodge & staff are super accommodating

The Retreat lodge was in a perfect location on The Mews, we had asked for one with the hot tub on the back on Chestnut Drive but must say we weren't disappointed as it was amongst the private lodges and was so peaceful and private. The one we had didn't have the TV's in the bedrooms as advertised has the owners hadn't installed them and as an apology we had a bottle of Prosecco delivered. There was a couple of issues with the shower fittings which we notified more for maintenance to fix as they were still workable. Overall a perfect lodge in perfect location

The lodge was clean and comfortable, and had everything we could have wanted.

The lodge was clean and comfortable, and had everything we could have wanted. Beds and sofas were comfy, and it was nice to have smart TVs in each room. Washing machine and dishwasher was a great help and addition (would have been even better if there was a washer dryer to dry swim towels and costumes after the hot tub - but definitely didn’t impact our stay). The hot tub was clean and checked daily. The only thing we didn’t like, unfortunately, was the lack of privacy when using the hot tub, it would benefit from a privacy screen around the sides of the decking (some did and others didn’t, unfortunately ours didn’t and we was located on the corner next to the road, which meant we was visible to anyone walking/ driving past). Unfortunately, this meant we didn’t use the hot tub as much as we would have liked. However, we still did make use of it once it got dark. On another note the Prosecco was a lovely touch, and overall we had a great stay, and would be more than happy to return and recommend.
