About this property

Red cottage at Åsljungasjön Skåne Sweden, family and dog friendly.

Slightly less than ten minutes drive from the E4 on a beach close to the road. Here you can stress off, find peace and just be. You have
Lake Åsljungasjön just outside the cottage Otherwise, it is close to other nice bathing and fishing lakes (at least ten.) Very good fishing opportunities in the lakes.
There are mushroom and berry fields, wonderful walking and cycling paths and close
to cultural experiences, such as the Glass Kingdom in Småland, Astrid Lindgren's world, the many castles in Skåne eg. Sofiero castle, flea markets in variety and much more.
In the evening you can sit in the outdoor room and look out over the lake when the evening sun goes down.
You are welcome to bring your dog.
If you like to ski, it is only about 15 km to Vallåsen's fine alpine facility.
The cottage is well equipped such as induction cooker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, kettle, microwave etc. Fireplace, TV with German channels and internet. Bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. Two bedrooms one with double bed and the other with single beds. A large glazed conservatory. Outdoor quality furniture and charcoal grill. A rowing boat. There are two stand up boards. a bathing jetty with a ladder down into the water you can swim from. Only a few meters from the cottage to the water. Own parking space for car.

Across the lake there is also a larger bathing area with a jumping tower. In addition to the serene glades, the forest also offers berry and mushroom picking, wildlife and hiking areas. In addition, it is close to both Skåneleden and to bike trails.

The cottage has everything you need for a cozy holiday and its location, 3 km from Skåneporten, makes it easy for you to quickly reach the destinations.
Electricity cost is added in addition with 3:50/ kwh can be paid in Euro and SEK
Bed linen and towels are NOT included and are NOT brought by the tenant
Final cleaning of the cottage MUST be done by the tenant and it must be as nice for the next tenant as it was when you arrived. Otherwise, you will be liable to pay SEK 2,000 for final cleaning afterwards.

Beautiful location, but the cleanliness!

The location is truly marvellous. We had our own rowing boat and two SUP-Boards on our own jetty. The house is on a very quiet street.But the cleanliness!!!!For example: the hobs were full of burnt-on food residue, there was a lot of dog hair on the sofa and the curtains in the conservatory were very dirty.

Cute little house with the best view and private access to lake

We had 2 great days with our 2 big kids in Autum here in this beautiful little house right down to the lake. 2 bedrooms, kitchen well equipped and amazing extra living room (a little cold) with big windows and access to the lake. We enjoyed our stay and did the walk around the lake (4,5 km) and went on Moose safari 🫎 The house is nice and clean- and we will come back, that is for sure⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cosy cabin

Nice location, close to lake - swimming oppotunity 10 metres from the cabin. Clean and well equipped. Wifi connection is non-functional. All equipment using batteries needed new batteries.

The Best Place in Sweden

We have visited Sweden many times over the last 25 years and this is still the best place we have stayed in. The refridgerator had stopped working when we arrived and the owners replaced it with a brand new one within a couple of hours. On the whole a quiet location with sometimes a bit of traffic noise from the motorway if the wind is from that direction. Great for walks along the Skåneleden that passes by the top of the lake. The mobile broadband is fine for streaming TV if you bring your own stick.

Der Urlaub war fantastisch. Das Haus ist wunderschön und ruhig direkt am Wald gelegen, so dass man perfekt mit dem Hund spazieren kann. Der Zugang zum See mit eigenem Steg und Boot lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Der kleine Garten lässt sich mit einem Zaun hundesicher abtrennenDas Haus ist super gemütlich eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft für Paare mit Hund, für 4 erwachsene Personen wäre es zu eng…Von den Vermietern, die gleich nebenan wohnen, bekommt man kaum etwas mit. Man grüßt sich kurz, aber mehr Kontakt entsteht selten

Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist top - ruhig und erholsam. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist auf dem neuesten Stand. Es war alles und noch mehr vorhanden, was man brauchte. Für die ältere Generation waren die Betten etwas zu weich und die Stufen vom Wintergarten in den Garten ohne Geländer etwas beschwerlich, aber das sind subjektive Empfindungen. Wir waren mit einem Hund dort und man konnte den Gartenbereich schließen, um nicht ständig aufpassen zu müssen. Der Check-in und Check-out waren problemlos und die Vermieter hat man selten mal im Vorbeigehen gesehen.Rundum war es ein sehr gelungener und schöner Urlaub.

Wir waren das zweite Mal hier. Umkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, Das kleine Schwedenhäuschen ist super ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und in der Küche hat es uns an nichts gefehlt.Der Wintergarten lädt zum Verweilen mit wunderschönem Blick über den See ein. Wir haben im Garten gefrühstückt, sind mit dem Rad nach Örkeljunga zum Einkaufen geradelt, gewandert, im See geschwommen und mit dem Boot gerudert. Für uns ein sehr schöner erholsamer Schwedenurlaub in herrlicher ruhiger Gegend mit wunderbarem Blick über den See.

Check in war unkompliziert, dank Schlüsselsafe. Wir waren etwas früher da, war aber kein Problem.Empfangen wurden wir von einem Zettel mit Anordnungen, was alles bei Abreise zu putzen und zu tun ist. Kein "Herzlich Willkommen" o.ä.Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es fehlt eigentlich an nichts.Für 3 Erwachsene und Hund war das Haus ausreichend.Der Wintergarten ist sehr schön für gemütliche Abende.Wir kommen gerne nach Schweden, um die Natur und die Ruhe zu genießen. Leider war uns das in diesem Haus nicht vergönnt. Der Besitzer (wohnt gleich auf dem Nachbargrundstück) hatte Familienbesuch, welcher u.a. aus 7 bis 8 Kindern bestand. Da wir sehr schönes Wetter hatten, war der See natürlich Ziel der täglichen Vergnügungen. Es war ein Lärmpegel wie im Freibad. Geschrei, poltern auf dem Bootssteg und das alles stundenlang am Stück. Die Kinder hatten wirklich Ausdauer und die Erwachsenen kein Interesse, dem Treiben wenigsten ab und zu ein Ende zu bereiten. Leider hatten wir die gesamten 14 Tage das "Vergnügen". Unseren Urlaub in dem netten Haus am See hatten wir uns etwas anders vorgestellt.

Gemessen an der Auflagenliste zur Endreinigung: bei Ankunft waren die Backbleche im Ofen bereits sehr verschmutzt. Den Gasgrill mussten wir erst eine halbe Stunde brennen lassen um die Grill-Reste vom Vorbesucher zu entfernen. Die Bettüberzüge hatten Flecken.Ansonsten Tip-Top und wir haben schöne Tage verbracht.

Geniale Lage direkt am See

Die Hauptkriterien für die gute Bewertung sind der eigene Seezugang über einen eigenen Steg zum Baden, ein eigenes Top-Boot zum Angeln und eine Ausstattung im Haus, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Die Sauberkeit ist bei mir nur eine Dreierbewertung, aber wir wussten vorher, dass in dieser Unterkunft Tiere erlaubt sind. Dann erwarte ich hier auch keine Perfektion.

Herrliche Lage direkt am See

Das Häuschen bietet, was es verspricht, ist klein, aber hat alles was man braucht. Leider haben die Besitzer einen Holzblickschutz zu ihrem Grundstück gemacht, der bis zum See geht und einen Teil der Aussicht vom Haus aus versperrt. So fühlten wir uns etwas eingesperrt. Je nach Wetter ist die E4 draussen gut zu hören. Drinnen ist es aber still.

Klein aber Fein

Ein super schönes Haus, direkt am See. Auf den Fotos war es garnicht so zu erkennen, aber das Haus steht sehr na am See. Wunderschöner Ausblick, auch von innen. Die Umgebung ist super schön und sehr ruhig. Auf unseren Tagestouren mit dem Fahrrad haben wir manchmal keine Menschenseele getroffen. Der kleine, 24 Std offen, Einkaufladen reicht völlig aus. Toller Vermieter, es war alles da was man benötigt. Sehr gemütliches Haus. Kann man nur empfehlen.
