The cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 singles. There is a full kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The dining table seats 6 and there are 3 comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV.
The cottage was built in 1844, constructed of local stone with a slate roof. It was originally the barn where the threshing was done and to the rear, it still has the old 'Engine House' or 'Gin House' which was the building where a donkey was used to power the mill. The cottage has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, including new bathroom and kitchen.
