This was the most amazing stay. The apartment was beautiful and the views of the canal were amazing! Check in was a breeze and a pleasure. The grocery store is just 2 blocks and is very well stocked. Though there was a small "green grocer" on the corner, I can't recommend as I was sold moldy strawberries.It's Venice, so everything is within walking distance. Our first visit to Venice was a dream.

Loved the location. Quiet neighborhood. Quick walk from boat dock. We were greeted and given a tour of the apt. Mornings were busy with the delivery barge but fun to watch.

Wonderful

We loved our stay here in this apartment. The location is great as it is away from the main tourist areas but still central enough to walk all over Venice. We especially enjoyed the patio and balcony overlooking the canal. Great place to stay in Venice!

Great host communication. Well located off beaten path but close to grocery, restaurant, bars etc. Clean and as advertised. Comfortable beds. Would recommend and stay here again!

Great Apartment!

We really enjoyed this apartment with its high ceilings, and overall layout. It’s situated right on the canal and it’s a short walk to the Nova Strada with its shops and restaurants. The hosts were very accommodating. We would stay here again!

First-time in Venice

Property and location worked perfect for my daughter and I. Staying on the water was the ultimate Venice experience. Great having our own bedrooms, washing machine was definitely a plus. Hosts were great at communicating. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful apartment

The pics online don’t do the place justice. Very spacious apartment, clean as can be with a wonderful host who gave us great recommendations for travel. It’s a few minutes removed the chaos of the city so it was much quieter and less crowded than other parts. Loved it!

Great location!

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. The location made it easy to take a water taxi straight from the airport, the neighborhood was quiet (aka not flooded with tourists) and had a number of restaurants and amenities in the area, including a Coop grocery store right around the corner. It is also located near two Vaporetto stops that made getting around easier. This unit is on the first floor, so there is one flight of stairs to the apartment. The unit itself had A/C, which was appreciated in an unusually warm and humid time in Venice. We also appreciated the washing machine and the kids loved the games on the bookshelves. The host was nice, they live in the building but we never had a reason to bother them. The kitchen was well appointed, even included a dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and towels appeared new. Overall a great spot!

Beautiful location and feels you are in Venice

Thank you. Location is beautiful and waking up seeing canals is amazing. I hope to be back and stay again. Its easy to get to from train station and vaporetta is nearby. We had everything we need for cooking and staying. Host helper was quick and responsive. Make sure you can call or have internet in case of questions on arrival. Its a physical key. Cons: Dishwasher was out of order. Read the directions beforehand. Google maps may be off. Small note about the description,- read full policy for the apartment stay as it was not translated to english. You do need to pay extra in cash for cleaning. Its not included in price.

Great location. Spacious. In need of a deeper clean.

Great location. Loved being right on canal with balconies and watching the activity on the canal. Restaurants, fruit & veg stand, grocery store nearby. Apartment is very spacious. Beds were comfortable. The person who let us in was very helpful—gave us clear instructions and also some great local restaurant recommendations. Only complaint: cleanliness. We had to wash the dishes prior to using them as they had not been properly cleaned. All of the curtains could have used a wash. There were covers on a couple chairs in living room that needed to be washed, replaced (or just removed). Door frames and other frequently touched areas had not been cleaned in some time. (Floors, surfaces, and the bathroom were clean—what was needed was a deeper cleaning.) Towels and sheets were clean and okay but could use replacing—not as good as usual towels and sheets in similar price ranges rentals I’ve stayed in in Europe or elsewhere. I would return to the apartment because of location & space but if you’re particular about some of the cleaning issues noted above you may be disappointed.

A very comfortable apartment

The apartment was clean and airy, in a calm area of Cannaregio that is quiet during most of the day and evening, though rather noisy in the morning when trash collection takes place. However, since we were early risers, this didn't pose a problem for us. After we disembarked at the train station and took the vaporetto water bus to Ca D'Oro, our host met us and guided us to the apartment. We got lost more than once trying to make our way home (as to be expected, I suppose), and one late evening some young students finally guided us to the correct neighborhood. There is a co-op supermarket and a wonderful fruit stand not far away, and the apartment's kitchen was equipped for making an occasional light meal at home. We had an early morning flight out of Marco Polo airport and rather than risk getting lost as we made our way to the water bus station (which really wasn't all that far), we ordered a water taxi instead. It was pricey (about $150 U.S.) but worth it to us, as they promptly met us on the little canal about 30 or 40 feet from our front door and took us directly to the airport. Make sure you get the apartment's actual address from the host. You'll need it to help you navigate the area.

We spent two weeks in this spacious apartment in October of 2025. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner’s colleague, Orial, met us at the apartment and gave us a quick orientation and made sure we had his contact number. The kitchen worked well for our cooking needs. There’s a large refrigerator, 4 burner stovetop, microwave, kettle, small moka, plenty of utensils, and an adequate number pots and pans. We did several loads of clothes in the washer and dried them on both the large drying rack and the clothesline over the canal. The apartment is well kept and decorated. The updated bathroom has a fantastic tile and stone shower with rainfall head and shower wand, lots of space and plenty of water pressure. The king-sized bed was really comfortable and there were lots of blankets available if needed. We spent a good deal of time on the private loggia just off the master bedroom. Whether enjoying a coffee or aperitivo, it was a perfect place to relax. The wi-fi worked flawlessly throughout the apartment. Others have mentioned early morning noise. We did not find it a problem. Each morning at 7:00 am a cargo boat delivered supplies for the nearby Coop and then the refuse boat would pull up so the garbage men could do their job. This is all a part of life in Venice; embrace it. Besides the Coop around the corner, there is a well-stocked green grocer just down the calle. You can find several restaurants nearby. After 6 visits to Venice, we have found a home.

Great spot!

Our family enjoyed the location of this vrbo - right on a canal in a quiet neighborhood - a little off the beaten path but close to a market and walkable to many Venice highlights. Directions were great; it was easy to find. Mornings are busy with boxes being delivered to the building, which is cool to see but also loud. Though the rest of the day/evenings it's quiet. Kitchen is tight and a bit cluttered, with no cabinet space to store your goods in. We woulds stay again and recommend it to others who want a great spot in Venice.
