Lovely renovated apart in the most genuine Venice

On the 1st easy floor of a perfectly restored ancient Venetian building, bordered by nice and quiet canals, right edge of Saint-Mark’s area, we propose you Amaryllis, a quality featured, quiet venetian apart. Excellent gateway to visit, just 7-10 minutes walking from both Saint-Mark square and Rialto’s Bridge area (it depends on the path u choose), no Grand Canal to cross, perfectly deseved by transports (3 waterbus stops in the nearby, the closest just 1 min. walking) the area is not a massive tourism target yet and still preserves charme and sensations of times gone by. Penetrating the quiet narrow streets, the "calli", around the buinding one discovers the "Campi", characteristic small squares of Venice with their old-fashoned flavour and the small family-run restaurants which offer menus of exclusive special dishes of local tradition. It is the only and last Venetian area where old manufacturers and small local art galleries still survive. Small daily local markets selling fresh products of the region can be also found in the surroundings
Finally Amaryllis proposes a comfortable accomodation in an unique area, perfect for those who look to visit the most original Venice, avoiding the unpleasant feeling of beeing in a theme park. Arsenale’s and Giardini’s proximity (most fascinating Venetian spots and Biennale Expo main sites) is a plus.

Perfect size for every kind of group, family, friends, couples, Amaryllis proposes high ceilings (3,30 mt) parquet floors in every ambience white framed windows and white wooden doors. Elegant features, large windows and quality lighting create extremely relaxing and bright ambiences, offering guests a pleasant, restful and quiet accomodation. Due to its particular layout (dining area is separated by the living/TV) Amaryllis can accomodate up to 6 adults in three separated rooms. All beds are comfortable single and every sleeping configuration request can be easily satisfied (two single can be firmly fixed and made on a double, and reverse).
The dining area is equipped with an elegant 6 seats tempered glass table and its proximity to the (fully equipped) kitchen allow guests to easily prepare and serve every meal. Amaryllis also proposes a nice terrace facing a pictoresque original “Campiello” (small typical Venetian square) with its typical Archway allowing access to the water (guests can directly arrive/leave by water taxi), a comfortable single entrance (just 1 flight of stairs) with private atrium used as checkroom and coat/shoes deposit and easy access from/to every Venetian terminal (direct easy access from/to airport, train station and cruise terminal).

Why they chose this property

It was my wife's apart when she was a student.
We completely renovated it in late 2017, now it is excellent.
The area is considered on of the last genuine parts of Venice.

What makes this property unique

A genuine bite of Venice. Still genuine, intresting, comfortable for visiting but no massive touristic area. Extremely quiet easy (European) 1st floor apart with single private entrance. Brand new apart, minty and sophisticated features. Full new equipement. Easy access from/to every Town's terminal (direct from airport/train station). Non touristic shops (market, bakery, grocery etc..) and restaurants at short walking distance. A table can be set behind apart's balcony, in the small no exit campiello facing the water, agreable.
Amaryllis also proposes a nice balcony facing a pictoresque original “Campiello” (small Venetian square) with its typical archway allowing access to the water (guests can directly arrive/leave by water taxi), a comfortable single entrance (just 1 flight of stairs) with private atrium used as checkroom and coat/shoes deposit.
Unlike most of Venetian aparts (facing narrow pedestrian "calli" or canals) due to the front small square Amaryllis is a bright and rightly sunny accomodation, fresh during summer (fully air-conditoned) and warm during cold seasons (powerful autonomous heating). The small Calle and Campiello are no exit, so no passage, no noise, bright daylight and extreme quietness. We are sure u will appreciate this genuine and rare bite of Venice.
