LOCATION:
Heaven's Edge is ideally situated in the delightful Pissouri Bay area of Southern Cyprus, midway between Paphos and Limassol, each 36 km (22 miles) away. Paphos Airport is conveniently situated 30 km (18 miles) away, to the west. Larnaca Airport is 101 km (62 miles) away, to the northeast. The villa is part of the well-established Ampelohori ("Village of the Vines") development.

The villa is located a short walk from the traditional Cypriot "Ampeli" restaurant, and there is a car hire office across the road. The beach is located 1 km away, and on the way there you will find a convenient selection of shops, bars, tavernas and restaurants. Pissouri village lies 5 km (3 miles) away on the hillside.

Heaven's Edge occupies the largest plot on the development. It has far more space, both inside and out, than is normally found with a property of this type. This one-off design boasts many unusual features, and offers every comfort for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The Villa faces south, and enjoys the full benefit of the Mediterranean sunshine from morning to evening. Set into the hillside and slightly elevated, it offers views towards Pissouri Bay, with its EU Blue Flag Beach, and manages to remain sheltered, yet not overlooked.

After a recent extensive refurbishment, the property now offers an even higher standard of accommodation, with many new features for the 2016 season.

AMENITIES:
Heaven's Edge has two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, and sleeps four. The master bedroom features a stabilised waterbed. The guest bedroom can be set up for one double or two single beds by request. Both bedrooms feature air conditioning free of charge, timed to operate from 7pm until 7am daily. Both bedrooms also have ceiling fans, and are equipped with hair dryers.

The spacious living area also features air conditioning free of charge, timed to operate from 3pm until midnight daily. There is a large television with internet based UK TV channels and movie streaming, DVD player with a selection of discs, and a radio / CD player. The lounge features ample seating, with three sofas, chair, and coffee table, and has two ceiling fans. The large dining table seats eight. Vaulted ceilings throughout the property help to keep the villa naturally cooler in summer.

The kitchen has been replaced for the 2019 season. Features now include integrated appliances (fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, slide-away oven and microwave/second oven), together with coffee and tea making facilities. There are two USB outlets for charging smartphones (cables not provided). An insect killer lamp is also installed.

All windows and doors throughout the property, (with the exception of the front door), are fitted with flyscreens, so that on hot days they can be left open without the risk of letting any flies in.

Free wi-fi is provided (you will find the Password in the Villa Information book).

A selection of books are available on the bookshelves in the guest bedroom.

The balcony, immediately outside the front door, features conservatory-style seating for five, with tables, and offers views towards Pissouri Bay from a slightly elevated position. If more privacy is required, comfortable outdoor seating for four, plus tables and four further stools, are provided on the newly built verandah. This can be conveniently accessed via the dining room French doors. Both areas can be illuminated at night.

The private swimming pool is set on a lower level and, because it faces south, enjoys sunshine from morning to evening. The pool is 9m long and 4m wide, and has conventional pool steps at the far end, as well as walk-in steps to the east side. An outside shower is provided. The pool has a shallow half, for children and non-swimmers, with a depth of 1.2 m (4'). The deeper half, further away from the villa, has a maximum depth of 1.9 m (6' 3").

The pool has been refurbished for the 2020 season, with new liner, skimmers and bigger steps.

Also on the lower level is the sunbed area, with four sunbeds and two large umbrellas.

The pool and surrounding areas can be illuminated at night. The pool has built-in blue LED lighting.

There is a barbecue area built onto the side of the property, and this area features a large outdoor dining table and six chairs, plus umbrella.

Beyond the pool there is a large gazebo, with swing.

ACCESS:
Whilst the villa itself is built on a single level, the outside area is spread across three levels. Whilst these greatly enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property, there are several steps to negotiate, which may be an issue for those with reduced mobility. The longest run is eleven steps from street level up to the intermediate level. From there, there are a further four steps up to the villa itself, seven steps down to pool level, one step up to the verandah, and two up from the verandah into the villa.

FURTHER INFORMATION:
The villa will be cleaned immediately prior to your stay. A complimentary welcome pack is provided.

For guests staying two weeks or more, there will be a weekly clean, change of linen and towels.

The swimming pool will be serviced twice weekly, usually on Tuesdays and Fridays.
