Lovely, clean and well equipped apartment
The weather gods of South Wales weren’t on our side but the apartment was perfect to come back to each day. Elaine has pretty much everything covered from treats for the dog through to a fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and extra soft towels. We’ve not seen the area at its best but there was plenty to amuse the kids for a week. The proximity to the beach is perfect and the coastal cycle path offered opportunities to easily explore further afield. If you’re looking for accommodation in this area and you’re ok to climb a few stairs then this apartment should be on your list.

5 stars dog friendly apartment with sea view, perfect location
The apartment on the 3rd. floor, number 46 is immaculate, super spacious, comfortable, modern, super comfortable beds, super modern bathrooms, full kitchen, well decorated, space reserved for parking on the door, Welcome gift for my dogs (treats, balls), Welcome tray containing cookies, coffee, tea, milk. It's all high quality. The only thing that I would add is a dishwasher, but the rest is more than perfect, new and very well cared for. Very well located, steps from a shop that makes rivers of crepes and a dog-friendly tea room that we loved. Very close to the small town of Burry Port where there is a Co-op, fish and chips, a Greek restaurant, a pub, a bakery and the train station. From the apartment you go directly to the beach and the path. The dogs delighted with this last point. TV with Netflix included was a Bonus. We loved the place and the owner Elaine 5 stars, very communicative and helpful.

Fantastic all round
We had a great week. The flat was lovely and perfect for us to visit family and friends. We were also lucky with the weather, and were able to enjoy the balcony. The only downside was the stairs for 2 old fogeys! However we would stay there again .

Myself and my husband grew up in South Wales not far from Burry Port and long to return to live there full time one day.

Why they chose this property

We love to stay at The Lookout as a family of four with two grown up children, and our dog. Being so close to the beach and the coastal path is ideal as we love the outdoors, and walk and cycle whenever we can. The coastal path runs past the property and is an easy cycle along the Millennium Coastal to Pembrey Country Park with its seven miles of blue flag beach

What makes this property unique

- Gorgeous sea views
- South facing balcony to enjoy the views
- Direct access to coastal path
- Beach is just a few minutes walk away
- Spacious and flexible accommodation
