Some things just needed a spruce up or thorough clean.

Some things just needed a spruce up or thorough clean. You can’t blame the cleaners. They looked like bits of kids. Plenty of storage and we had a great nights sleep

The Finglesham is a lovely lodge.

The Finglesham is a lovely lodge. We were told that they are about 9 years old ,so starting to get a bit of wear and tear which is understandable. The lodge we stayed in needed some jobs doing, but were told when we raised the problems that parts were on order to be fixed. The cleaning of lodge could have been a little better, eg very dirty windows, toilet needed bleaching also kitchen sink.We bleach and did them ourselves so no problem. Not enough cutlery even for 2 people, so using dishwasher would have been waste of time as would still have to wash cutlery by hand. Overall lovely site and would stay again, just a bit more attention to detail needed in a few areas but nothing to warrant complaining about.
