Scafell Cottage is on ground level and sleeps 4 people in total. The apartment contains one large King Bed and two single beds . Sofa, TV, dining table and Kitchen. Bathroom is en suite shower, toilet and sink. Amazing views of the Wasdale Valley. Quiet setting and ideal for walking or access to local beaches, mountains and lakes. Very close to Scafell Pike and Wastwater Lake. The farm is the home of The Rivera Andalusian Horse Stud; for Pure Spanish Horses with horse stables and Alpacas close by. No pets allowed. Scafell cottage has amazing views of the World Heritage Wasdale Valley from Scafell and Wastwater to the sea. With a King size bed and 2 singles along with a fully equipped modern kitchen it is self contained and waiting for you to enjoy. Peaceful and perfect for a quiet escape to the mountains.

Born in the Lakes , brought up locally and have lived in Far North Australia and more recently Wyoming in the USA where we owned a Horse Ranch next to Yellowstone . Now our love and passion is breeding Pure Spanish Horses on our mountain farm .

Guests will come here to access the most dramatic areas of the World Heritage Lake District , Wasdale is renowned for having the Highest mountain in England , the deepest Lake in England, the smallest Church in England and was voted the most beautiful view in England. We have some great local inns to eat and drink, just a short 2 minute drive down the valley. the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is a short drive away and the beaches at Seascale and Drigg have miles of golden sands and are quiet and natural.
