A spacious villa in a fully enclosed garden. Unwind in comfortable mediterranean style. Relax by the private pool or stroll around the garden. Use the fully equipped kitchen or barbeque to prepare your version of Greek cuisine. Eat inside, outside or in the shaded area near the pool and barbeque. Take a short stroll into Skala with its many shops and tavernas or enjoy the 2km beach. Walk over the fields by the villa to Spithi beach, wild and unspoilt with no crowds. Take your rental car to explore the many amazing locations and beaches around the island. Sleep well on comfortable super king mattresses in air-conditioned comfort and at the end of your stay wish you had booked for longer!

Perfect villa holiday!

Spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Great pool with sun loungers and comfy shaded sofa. Highly recommend!

A truly beautiful villa with an exceptional ownerWe absolutely loved Villa Demeter. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by just how beautiful, luxurious and immaculately clean the villa was. Everything has clearly been cared for to an exceptionally high standard, and it really does feel like a very special place to stay.The pool and outside area are simply fabulous. The pool is a wonderful size, beautifully maintained and became our favourite place to relax. The setting is peaceful and private, with everything you could want for a perfect holiday in beautiful Kefalonia.However, what really sets Villa Demeter apart is its owner, Peter.During our stay, the Skala area was affected by the frightening wildfires. This was obviously something completely beyond Peter's control, but his concern for us throughout was incredibly reassuring. He kept in touch, genuinely cared about our safety and wellbeing and could not have been more thoughtful.What touched us particularly was that Peter subsequently refunded part of the cost of our stay because of the disruption caused by the fires. He certainly didn't have to do this – the circumstances were entirely outside his control – and his generosity meant a great deal to us. It says everything about the way he treats his guests.You can book a beautiful villa in many places, but finding one this lovely with an owner who genuinely cares about the people staying there is much rarer.We wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend

Amazing Villa

We had a fantastic stay – the villa was beautifully decorated with spacious rooms, a stunning pool and garden, and in the perfect location. The kitchen was really well-equipped with everything we needed.The host was incredibly responsive, but we didn’t need to ask anything as every detail had already been thought of and clearly communicated. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Lovely villa with a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials like salt, pepper, oil etc! The pool was perfect for my little girl. The sunbeds are the best sunbeds I’ve been on, they’ve been upgraded since the pictures on the listing! The plants outside are all well maintained and since the listing pics some of the more overgrown ones have been sorted so this adds to the aesthetic of the house. I have no faults at all with the house. Very spacious. Good size drive for a car if you are hiring one, could probably fit 2 cars on there. Nice and peaceful too with no overlooking properties. It is a 20-25 min walk into Skala and half the way is along a dirt road but this wasn’t an issue. I would just say to take a head torch for the walk back at night as there is no pavement on the main road so can be a bit dangerous but the drivers mostly give you plenty of room. Communication with Peter was fantastic. He got back to me quickly every time I contacted him and was accommodating and friendly. I will 100% be back in the future.

Villa Demeter

We had a lovely stay. The Villa is really well equipped and spacious. The grounds and pool area were very relaxing and pretty, the pictures don’t do them justice. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend this villa. If there was any suggestion I could make it’s that pool towels would be a really nice idea. The days of needing to bring your towels with you is kind of outdated and less than ideal. We ended up buying some cheap towels from the supermarket to use and threw away before we left. Overall though this is a lovely villa and we had a great time.

After holidaying an several Greek islands we came to Kefalonia and fell in love. We looked at properties to sale an immediately loved Villa Demeter because of it's spaciousness and the fact that it is in a semi-rural area and fully enclosed. The large garden and the pool were the icing on the cake!
