About this property

ARTSY MOUNTAIN VIEW LOFT

Private entrance, Appx.600 sq. ft. loft with breathtaking mountain views. Features kitchen with sink, range and fridge, living room with couch and recliner, TV monitor for netflix or DVD's, bedroom with brand new high quality queen bed, bathroom with tiled shower. Lots of windows overlooking the mountain view. The flooring is all heart pine finished nicely. The ceilings have rough sawn beams every 32". and the walls are reclaimed wood wainscot with painted dry wall above. The loft is next to our very creative mountain home on a two acre mountain side. you'll feel like you're in a tree house.
A new 12 x 12 deck with table and chairs has just been added overlooking the wooded mountainside.
Appx. 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville.
We welcome folks to enjoy the fire pit or pool when convenient, which is most of the time. Becky is often available to make breakfast if requested.
Guests need to be at least 21 years of age. If you are married and under 21 that is acceptable.

We loved this home and loved that all the details were provided. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the views so much. The kitchen was stocked well and house was very clean. The furnishing and tv were all wonderful and comfortable.

Wonderful place! The loft is clean, cozy, and very private. You cannot beat the location (20-15 minutes from everything) paired with the secluded mountain feel! My wife and I plan on returning for future getaways! The hosts are kind, hospitable, and make excellent blueberry muffins!

The loft space make clever use of space to provide ample room for kitchen/eating area, den, bedroom and shower/bathroom. Lovely mountain view, and SOOOOO quiet. Our host was friendly and very helpful, a pleasure to meet. Would gladly stay there again!

Our five nights stay was a perfect way for us to explore the Asheville area. We spent two days hiking and seeing waterfalls. One day was spent at the Biltmore and another day was a trolley tour of Asheville and exploring some of the breweries. The cool pool was refreshing after the hot hiking days. We had everything we needed. Becky was very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you, Ken and Becky!

The Mountain View was amazing. The pool was just to die for after a day of hiking. I love flora and had the best time wandering around the property looking at all of the plants. It has been built by the owners and there are so many lovely touches. Just an amazing place to call home for a few days.

Becky & Ken were lovely hosts.Helped with pre-booking ?'s, and even luggage on arrival (as there are about 32 steps to get to room upstairs). There are windy roads up the mountain to arrive so driving at night is a challenge to get there. However, the place was very well equipped, clean, homey, and comfortable. We enjoyed one lovely prepared breakfast as well. And, we delighted in our spiritual conversations. We would recommend ! THX Becky & Ken

Will def book again when back in Asheville. Ken and Becky , very gracious hosts. Quiet-serene-quaint. An ideal getaway from all the "noise" of daily life. Beautiful views, literally tucked in the mountain top. It did periodically sprinkle on us, but not enough to deter us from venturing out. Very well maintained. And oh so clean. Def 5 out of 5. If there were a 10 I'd give that. How about an A!!!

The stay overall was great! The property is gorgeous and very relaxing. The listing is a loft above the homeowners garage but there were no issues with noise or privacy concerns. Communication was great, Becky and Ken were lovely hosts!The driveway may be a little tricky for cars, we were in a 4WD truck and didn’t have issues but a 2WD car may have some difficulty with the incline and gravel so be mindful of that.
