Alkmaar is a historic city in the province of North Holland. The city is best known for its traditional cheese market, which has been held in the center of the city since the 14th century and every Friday, you can also witnessed it! Alkmaar is also home to a range of cultural and historical attractions, including the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar, the Grote Kerk and the beautiful canal network that runs through the city. The city's lively pedestrian streets are filled with cafes, shops and restaurants. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen and a living room with TV and dining table. Thanks to the presence of a washing machine you can travel light and the balcony is ideal for a relaxing evening with a snack and a drink of your choice.
