Lovely little house with garden and small balcony with lake view in the charming hamlet of San Bartolomeo.

The property is the dependence of a main house (common access). Reachable ONLY on foot, the cottage has a parking space in the village (about 500 m from the property). Surrounded by a well-kept, lush garden, partly shared with the main house and screened from it by a fence and hedge, it has a small balcony from which to enjoy a charming lake view. Tastefully furnished, it is ideal for those looking for an accommodation immersed in the tranquillity of the sunny village of San Bartolomeo.

Location: the house lies in the village of San Bartolomeo, a quiet and sunny hamlet in the municipality of Cannobio. The public beach can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes from the accommodation; an underpass near the public car park on the main road allows you to reach it safely. There is a small grocery shop in San Bartolomeo and it is a good starting point for walks. The lively centre of Cannobio, with its many bars, restaurants and shops, is about 3 km away.

La dolce casa dei libri

Unsere Anreise war durch eine Autopanne um fünf Stunden verspätet. In Dunkelheit und im Regen begaben wir uns auf die Suche nach dem Schlüssel. Die angegebene Adresse war nicht ganz korrekt - abgesehen davon, dass der Straßenname an einer Hausfassade ausgeblichen und unlesbar war konnten wir auch die angegebene Hausnummer 9 nicht finden. Heute glauben wir, dass uns der San Bartholomeo geführt hat, so dass wir an einem Eingangstor mit der Nummer 25 ein Schild „Casa dei libri entdeckt haben und auch den Schlüsseltresor . Mit dem Schlüssel in der Hand stiegen wir die Treppe hoch und Standen vor einem Haus, das nicht dem gebuchten entsprach - es war 21 Uhr und dunkel - zum Glück entdeckten wir eine Treppe an der Hausseite, dann einen Pfad und letztendlich auch das süsse Häuschen - die Freude war riesig. Die Aussicht am nächsten Tag hat uns für den ziemlich anstrengenden Aufstieg belohnt. Das Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber, so dass wir die Zeit sehr genießen konnten. Auch die Gegend ist bezaubernd und sehr ursprünglich. Ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, in Casa DEI libri einen weiteren Urlaub zu verbringen

Gerne wieder

Der Weg von der Kirche zum Haus war mit Gepäck etwas beschwerlich, das Haus sehr ordentlich und angenehm, die Angabe der Breite des Bettes für das Leintuch wäre vielleicht noch zweckdienlich. Ansonsten alles super - vielen Dank.

Schöne Woche

Vielen Dank für diese schöne Woche am Lago Maggiore! Die Unterkunft ist gut eingerichtet und man kann dort eine gute Zeit verbringen. Vor allem das Bett ist klasse! Abends ist es im Häuschen wunderbar ruhig und man kann den stressigen Alltag vergessen. Der Weg mit dem Auto durch das Dörfchen ist abenteuerlich, aber auch mit einem Combi machbar. Man gewöhnt sich schnell an die engen Kurven. Die Wegbeschreibung hilft wirklich gut dabei, das Häuschen zu finden. Gerne wieder!
