About this property

Butterfly Cottage - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 4

Butterfly Cottage is a cosy, dog-friendly cottage that sleeps up to 4 set in 2 acres of grounds, and found in the unique and beautiful village of Trefriw. The grounds of the cottage, which is sat next to the main house on the estate has amazing gardens and woodlands to explore, and there is a small stream that passes by which has its own fishing rights. Less than 2 miles from the cottage is the beautiful Llyn Crafnant - the majestic Crafnant Lake.

The ground floor of this quaint and welcoming cottage consists of an open plan lounge/diner, a comfortable space with large log-burner fire, dining table, TV and comfy sofas, and double French windows that open to welcome in the immediate garden grounds, fantastic on warm days but that allow wonderful views in no matter the time of year. The kitchen area is just off the living-room, and a few small steps between the lounge and entrance - which pass by a downstairs WC - bring you to the staircase.

Upstairs, you will find the first floor which houses the two bedrooms. One is a double, the other a twin and there is also a large bathroom with walk in shower, having 'Jack and Jill' entrance - with doors into the bathroom from the bedrooms.

Facilities at the cottage include a washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave, DVD player and TV. There is Wi-Fi internet access, and bed linen and towels are supplied. The cottage is dog-friendly and allows one small, well-behaved dog at no additional charge.

Trefriw is an ideal place for nature lovers, walkers and ramblers. A quiet village, it’s often overlooked as a destination in favour of the nearby Betws-y-Coed, but has some fantastic attractions such as a number of good pubs, small shops and the famous Trefriw Woollen Mill. A few miles down the road takes you to Surf Snowdonia and on to the Castle town of Conwy, Llandudno and the coast, or you can travel inland towards Betws Y Coed, Capel Curig and the higher peaks of Snowdonia, and the Eryri National Park.

The owners live on site, and are available when needed. They also have a friendly dog.

Details of arrival, location, and check-in and other useful information will be emailed to you 1 week before your arrival. If you do not receive these details, please contact info@northwalesholidaycottages.co.uk.
