The Ixora development is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown in the heart of Barbados’s platinum west coast. The building is a two story property with only 10 condominium units. The property is a 5 minute walk to the vast west coast beaches and the upscale Limegrove Lifestyle Centre and a 7 minute walk to the shops, supermarket, happy hour bars and restaurants.

The space

This one bedroom unit is known as Ixora 8 and is located on the second floor with a walk out to the balcony from both the living area and the bedroom. The unit overlooks the communal swimming pool. The pool area includes loungers for sun bathing and side tables. The air conditioned bedroom includes a queen sized bed, (UK king) ceiling fan and closet space. The American style kitchen includes a washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and air fryer. There is a smart tv which will allow you to access your Netflix or Prime Video account. Basic cable and Wi-fi are also included. The living area includes a ceiling fan. On the outside balcony you will find a ceiling fan, dining table and chairs and two lounge chairs which are ideal for reading. The three piece bathroom includes a shower, toilet and sink. The condominium was built with the emphasis on outdoor living, with open plan spaces and full width sliding doors that lead out onto a large private balcony.

Great communication with Joan during and after booking process, organised transfers all went well. Andrea was there to meet us at property showed us how everything worked, available by phone if needed. Apartment exactly as advertised, near to beach, restaurants/bars, supermarket, bus route. Very enjoyable peaceful stay.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at Ixora. The location is quiet, no noise from the coast road at all. Regularly saw monkeys in the trees and roof next door. Easy check-in with Andrea. The balcony is a highlight of the apartment, large, comfortable chairs. We spent most of our time there when at the apartment. The air conditioning in the bedroom is an added bonus.
