New Year's Ruined: A Tale of Unprofessionalism and Deception

I am deeply disappointed and upset with my experience at this property. I had made reservations for a New Year's celebration with my family, traveling all the way from the USA. The day before our scheduled arrival, attempts to contact the property manager, Juliana, were futile as she claimed she no longer managed the property. She eventually directed us to Ivan Garzon Borre, who was not only extremely rude and insulting but also informed us that we couldn't have the property due to a supposed water problem. Efforts to reach him through VRBO were unsuccessful as he never responded to their calls. To our dismay, we found out the property was occupied by others on the night we were supposed to check in, indicating a likely overbooking or preferential treatment to a higher bidder. This situation completely ruined our vacation, costing us over $10,000 and leaving us to spend New Year's Eve in a garage. I urge VRBO to reevaluate hosting such unreliable and unprofessional individuals, as this experience was utterly unacceptable.
